I called them back too. Here’s what happened: I filled out two pages of information. When they answered the guy confirmed my info (just name, phone number, email, etc.) and asked me some questions about the types of jobs I wanted. Then he said they'd start sending me updates with jobs in my area that meet those requirements. I was given the option of how often I wanted those updates and i said daily. When I got the jobs a few I'd knew already, and a few I didnt. I followed the link and applied for them. Clearer for everyone?

I got the text and called back. It's a job matching service that sees what kind of job you're looking for and then sends you jobs in your area that you can go apply to.
Legal Eagle 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown
What kind of service are they offering? The one in the text?
Mimi 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown
I'm pretty sure that I pay extra to get caller ID on my phone. Maybe if you don't pay for it you don't get it.

I got the text too. I've been applying for so many jobs lately so I can work after graduation it could be any number of jobs I've previously applied to.
Jojo 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown
I didn't get anything in Caller ID, but the text did say it was some girl named Anna.
Birdman 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown
All phones are different. They want to limit the amount of data sent to keep costs down so they don't send caller ID info. The number has to be in your address book to come up in caller ID.
Stayin Alive 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown
No, caller IDs are in the number programming. If it doesn't come up it's because there is none.
Osiris 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown
Got text. No caller ID but message was pretty clear. Said that if I was still interested in finding a job to call them back. Prolly got my resume off of Monster or some other web site. I've been applying for a ton of jobs lately.
Rayanne 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown
Don't the number need to be in your address book for a caller ID to come threw on your cell phone?
The Usual Suspects 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown
Unknown.

Destiny 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown

Kim 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown
Text. No caller ID.
Big Money 2011-06-06 20:45:45 Unknown
So did anyone call them to see what kind of job it is?
Pat 2010-11-20 07:17:45 Unknown
The text message I got is "Hi, I'm Jill. Based on your resume you match a position I'm filling. If you register at jobnab.com we can discuss the details if you're interested." It appears that jobnab is a headhunting service. I've registered with Monster, SnagAJob, Indeed, and CareerBuilder and applied to numerous companies through their application interface programs (Taleo and others). Yes, I've been applying to many jobs and there's no telling which site they got my info from. When I tried to do the reverse phone lookup, it seems the cell phone is registered on the north side of Chicago.

Here's what happened when I went to the site. I filled out two pages of information and was given a phone number to call. When they answered the guy confirmed the information I typed in was correct and then asked me some questions about the types of jobs I wanted. Then he said they'd start sending me updates with jobs in my area that meet those requirements. I was given the option of how often I wanted those updates and i said daily. When I got the jobs a few I'd knew already, and a few I didnt. I followed the link and applied for them. Does that answer some questions?
