Just got a ridiculous message from this phone number. They were claiming to be my cell carrier (AT&T) giving me a $1000 credit if only I'd go to -you guessed it- ATT-$1000.com (or some such) and 'simply' log in to my account to claim it. Jeez is anyone really that dumb?

My phone is constantly ringing concerning a loan I did not apply for....this is truly a scam...They ask for someone with my last name but wrong first name.  I think they are calling from different numbers...I have got 20 call in one hour.

got a call about a loan i never applied for. when questioned they refused to tell me where they got my number from. ive had same number for 12yrs and never had this problem until a few days ago. btw, has anyone started anetflix acct. or activated aclear wireless internet router. there might be a connection here.

Two calls back to backk from this number asking for someone I've never heard of. I told 2nd lady not to call again. She hung up on me.

1-800-488-3401 called me saying they need more information from me before they could deposit anything into my account...the problem is,  i never did a online application for any loan, not from them,...or anyone! BEWARE!!!!!

I'm constantly getting calls from this number. Talking about a loan application which I'm not familiar about. Each day i would get 10 calls from this number. I would ignore it, but I'm getting really irritated now. Many people are having this same similar problem with this caller. Someone said it was verified as a loan scam caller, but how come it didn't stop? How come nobody isn't taking actions to stop them?

The loan shop is not actually a scam if they are the real people calling.  They do offer payday loans and I have used them before.  It is just that now a days people use pay day loan company names when in fact they are not affiliated or do not represent those companies.  They are the scammers.

They called me this morning when I was in the bus,so I asked them to call back and at home I decided   to check the number in internet.

I answered there call and told them not to contact me anymore and take me off their phone list! I got calls like every 5 mintues, until I finally answered and told them to stop. Hopefully I don't get one tomorrow. So far calls have stopped.

Called our office claiming an emergency with a family member to get to an employee.

Just got a call from this number today for someone else which was not me regarding an application. They wouldn't tell me who they were or what it was about since I was not that person

Had a message on my work phone - a chuckle and then someone identifying themself as Britney stating that she had my loan application and to call 800-488-3401.  I have not applied for any loans anywhere.  this has to be a scam.  But where did they get my information?  Caller ID 866-669-3430

These people tried to called my daughter at her brand new job, she wasn't working at the time so they left a message for her to return their call~ The only way they could have gotten info as to where she was working was from her Facebook.  So, beware!

The Loan Shop continues to call me.  I told them I didn't apply for a loan nor do I want a loan from them.  Yet, 8004883401 has called my cell phone # 22 times in the last 5 minutes!!!  Don't know how to stop them from calling me.

Nuisance called - it is a scam, do not reply to their texts to mobile phones are answer their calls.  It is a verified scam and illegal operation.

Called our house, left message for my husband.  Stating they had funds available for deposit. He had not applied for any loans.  How do the people get your number!

don't give any info...you weren't looking for a loan, and this is not the way to get one.....

I received a message stating I applied for a loan online and they needed to speak with me before they could deposit funds in my account.  I haven't applied for any loan.  It told me to call 800-488-3401, chose option 1, when listening to the recording, opt 1 is for collections.  I find this disturbing.   I haven't applied online for anything.  Is this a scam to get my account information?

RECEIVED A CALL - SAYING WE APPLIED FOR A LOAN WHICH WE DIDN'T.  WOULD NOT TELL ME WHERE SHE RECEIVED OUR INFO.  SAID WE APPLIED ONLINE- BUT WERE NOT ONLINE ALL WEEKEND.
