My son talked to these people with a fake Swedish accent.  When it got to me, they told me my son was rude and irresponsible. I told the telemarketer that he was the rude one.  This was call 50 in a year.

They just called 15 minutes ago, This is like the second time I chose to answer one last week and it was a foreigner accent and this time it was a young lady. Same script. I said no thank you and hung up both times. Usually with ComEd, if there are any changes to bill or supplier for any reason all customers are notified via informative business letters. I am going to report this right now, but i'm already on the DNC list. UGH I thought it was someone I needed to talk to before i looked at ID.

Caller:  "Yes, I need to speak with the person who handles the Com Ed electricity bill."

Me:  "You are making an illegal telemarketing call, and I am going to report your [blank]."

Hee hee hee.  I hate these idiots, and so I will make good on my threat and report them now.

These people are making illegal telemarketing calls and need to be reported by ALL of us to www.donotcall.gov.

Give them NO personal information -- not your name, not your ComEd account number, NOTHING.  Hang up and report them!

I received a call from them this morning and they said they work with comed that they call because I was entitle to a rate reduction. 312-981-8726 Illinois call. Ok, you know thats not true. Why will a company call you to reduce your electric? By the way this company is North American power, an individual electrical company. You have a choice of choosing your electric but not fooling people like this: saying they are connected with com Ed. Their is a lot of complaints in BBB about them so you decide if you want to end up with headaches. Sorry, North American power ! One less victim.

They didn't leave a message. I see what it was from other comments. The truth is, your electric bill will go down, temporarily. Then they will go back up to where they were or higher.

Same here. I received the call from Joe Brandau. He was very aggressive and bordered on rude. Claimed to need to verify information from my ComEd bill. I advised him that w the current scams I would not be verifying anything over the phone. He provided me w his extension of 1050. (I have not tried to call back) He claimed to be calling on behalf of ComEd till the very end, then gave me the name of North American Power.

received numerous calls from this number...we don't answer our phone so they hang up and call right back.  I want it to stop!

this number called me and an automated voice said "goodbye" after a couple of quite high piched beeps. i might just be watching to much CSI but it scared the crap out of me!!

Got a call regarding a discount on my electric biil if I had three things in my favor One was am I a senior citizen, what type of income do I hace and an I responsible for the utility. I told him yes, but then he wanted more information off of my last bill. I told him know because if he was Eson he wouldn't have to call me. I hung up. I called Com Ed and they said the Com Ed would not be calling me. Just thought I'd let you know.

Just called and did not say anything.  Called back.  It's North American Power calling to say I am entitled to a rate reduction to my bill.  I asked if it was a telemarketer, to which he replied no, repeating that I am entitled to a rate reduction.  Then I asked if it was through Com-Ed and he said no it's North American Power.  He said they had sent notifications out re this.  When I stated that they were trying to get me to switch, and he said no, they supply Com-Ed with gas.  I told him I was satisfied with the way mine is.

These people ARE scams. When Com Ed has a reduction, you get it automatically, these people don't lower your bill.  You always end up paying more.  Stick with the org. source of electric.

Called as a different electricity provider, works with Comed but gets the electricity from another source. It sounded like a good deal, but not sure if it was a scam?
