Received call from same number: 708-898-2635.  Notified we'd won a prize: Ford Escape, $2,500, vacation or 32" TV. They don't hide the fact that you must attend a sales pitch (for Gold Crown Resort membership). Really quite straight forward:  attended sales pitch and talked with sales rep; lasted less than 90 minutes; left with vacation prize; not much pressure.  They wanted $9,200 for membership and another $400 annual fee for discounted cruises and condo rentals.  May be a good deal for some, but not me.  Odds of winning TV were 1:50,000 according to scratch off card.  Most will leave with vacation that is primarily lodging for two, and other fees apply.  Haven't finished that process yet.

it can dial every friggin' number in n.america. and the number itsef 312-986-9988 is a platform number/pseudo number. which means it really doesn't exist.

Call came in 10:20am. Something about winning something & pressing 1. I'm hoping these comments get someone doing something. My caller ID says it is from Il, USA.

Got this number calling me, 1240pm EST, didn't answer it as I am a 613 area code number, and I don't have anyone with random numbers like that calling me.  Very WEird

It's a government cell phone tracking project... Look it up they do this quite frequently! Not because they necessarily have interest in you because they don't. It's just homeland security working out the bugs in their mobile tracking software after they update. I have seen this many times as a programmer for IBM and consultant for other services. So let the phone ring it doesn't matter it's all being processed anonymously... Except they know who they are calling.

Well i "just" got a call from this number as well but the difference is i dont answer any numbers i do not know, i look them up and see if its a bu***hit number like this then i will either put it on my reject list or i have a way of setting up my cell phone to say its disconnected without really being disconnected so that ALWAYS works to make bu***hit people stop calling me =)) haha!

I speak spanish. Just got this call today, I needed to answer it as it's normal to get unknown callers for my job purposes.

Basically they say that you won $1,000 and they ask you to press the number 1 to continue. I didn't as it sounds so fraudulent.

I JUST got that call.  Came in on my work cell, so I answered it.  Spanish recording in a female voice...I understood the word apres and dinero, but not much else due to the speech speed, so I didn't do anything.  I will note that number to a "Do NOT Answer" on my cell.
