If you call their number, there is an option for their "Do Not Call List."  They say to allow 24 hours.  We'll see.

We just got a call on our cell phone from this company.  They did not provide a company name, just a recorded statement that due to a government-authorized rebate program, we could get lowered electric rates.  We pressed 1.  When she picked up, Tanya, ID 1117, started giving us a spiel about discounted service rates.  She asked for our service rate.  When we said we could give her our account number, but we didn't have our bill at the moment, Tanya tried to persuade us to give her more information.  When we inquired further, Tanya said she did not have our account information--"That's private."  When we asked, "Then how can you tie it to our account?" Tanya hung up.

This is obviously a phishing attempt.  DO NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING.

Got a call with no one on the line probably trying to sell me something.  A call back gave me the choice to be put on their do-not-call list - no company name or option given.

" Electric Center" on Caller ID.  Did not pick up.  Scammers.  Give them NO personal information.

"The usual" but NOW it starts with a "chime" rising tone bong bong bong bong.  Says something about the gov't allowing a reduction in electric rates, press 0 to be connected.  

I need a PBX that checks this site FIRST and doesn't answer.   Or auto-answers and Auto-reports to the FCC!

These scammers called soon after the wife had hung up on another scammer from 773-377-5920.

No inteligent life form at the other end of the phone. Typical of the brrainless idiots that work for these companies.
