This number keeps calling my parents and grandmother saying I own for payday loan. They still call my old job that I haven't worked at for 3years. How do you get them to stop scamming?  They can't send you proof but threaten you with court.

These people have been calling my family saying that my husband is being investigated for felony check fraud, and they wanted me to validate his ss#. I told them they weren't getting anything out of me until they told me exactly what was going on. The person went round and round with me about needing to verify the ss# before they told me anything. I told them that we have not had a checking account in over 2 years, and my husband just had a background check to work in our school system and is totally clean in his record. I also told them to stop calling my family (they called both sets of my grandparents, and my parents) and then they asked me to verify their phone numbers so that they could remove them, I told them no way, you know what phone numbers you have, so just stop calling them! She said, well i can't remove them unless you tell me what they are and I said I'm not comfortable with that, and she immediately got snotty with me and and said "we just enjoy the phone calls then!" and hung up on me!!!! Ugh, taking this to my local Sheriff's Dept as a SCAM!!!!

Hello,

I have been getting these calls for a long time for a pay day loan on-line and yes it is in the net meaning they sell our information to different people as you could say black market with our information trying to scare us to give them money.  Which these people calling me over and over but they called today to tell me that I have three and there is no way yes to one but not three.  So I called my lawyer which she said if all these people have all our information ss#, address, full name and so on these people can continuing keep getting on-line loans in my name, so my lawyer told me to call all three credit reporting agencies and let them know about these people having all my information and get it reported for them using my information that way when someone tries to use my information it will be flagged and I will get a call.  Wow never never get an on-line loan never.  this is so crazy

They called again.  Let them keep calling.  I am the only person who answers my phone, so no one else will speak to these losers.

Threaten all you want.  Until I get someone to serve me, I'm not dealing with them.  And if they do, when I finish taking them to court, THEY will have to pay ME money!

They aren't supposed to call your job.

Think of this: THEY ARE SCAMMERS!! Think about it...what company says that they could not send validity of debt? That should tell you right there that this is a scam. They called me as well and I simply told them that they are not getting a dime from me, so they can continue to waste their time by callin me, but this is the absolute first (and last) time that I will speak to them. Don't fall for it!!

Call me repeatedly.  Threaten to serve me at home or at my "place of employment."  I can rectify this matter by called an "800" number prior to service.  Otherwise after service, I have no legal remedies.  DO THEY THINK I AM STUPID?  When I called the number back, a foreigner said, "I didn't call you" and acted very frightened.

They are calling my job, but I don't answer the phone because I don't take personal calls on the job.  If they don't stop, I'm going to report them for harrassment and they can't call the job.

They need to just stop.  I don't know what they are talking about and I don't deal with scammers or collection agency.

My brother in law and sister have been getting tons of calls about payday loans. They keep threatening to send them to jail.. I called back today. I asked them to tell me who they were collecting for and they told me they needed the account number or phone number they have been contacting me at. I gave them a random number. They came back and told me their "system" was down. I asked what company they were and what their mailing address was. They hung up... I called back. The system was up miraculously. But they were unable to give me any information because I refused to give them my social security number. When I ask for them to send me proof for yhe validity of the debt they told me they didn't have too. When I asked for the address to mail them a check they hung up..
I called back
The first woman who answered was the same as the other two. Yet when I asked why she hung up on me she said mam I have not spoken with you. To which I replied "really b!t@h you have the same name as the last con artist uneducated low life" she hung up...

I just want to be friends!

I get at least one call everyday from these people. I have caught on to them. My cell phone has the option to block #s so everytime they call from a # I let it go to voicemail, listen to the scam message threatening action (First of all, there is no such thing as a "Processing Division") they are calling from all types of numbers. After I listen to the voicemail, I save it then I go up and block the #. I save the voicemails for legal reasons. I would suggest you all do not answer any calls from uknown or numbers that you do not know. If it is someone that you know or a business contact they will leave a voicemail. Let the call go to voicemai, then save the voicemail. It will make your case much more valid when you report it to the authorities, Better Business Bureau, and Federal Trade Commission as this company is in direct violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act. I have called this company numerous times and when I mention Better Business Bureau, The Federal Trade Commission, or the police, they hang up on me. After a while, it gets amusing. I give them props for their persistance in trying to scam money from me, but to no avail. I am on to them,

First of all a processing divison if there is a such thing will have ONE number from ONE state. Not multiple state numbers from different area codes. Summons will come from a county, so it will be a court number. If it is a process server when you google the number, The County Clerk or Court Circuit should appear. Everytime I google one of these bogus #s this is all that comes up (800notes, etc) obvious fraud. Unfortunately, people who are not aware of their rights hear the word "fraudulent activity" or "jail time" and panic as I first did when I heard the message. Know your rights and know that debt of any kind is a civil matter not a criminal matter, unless you are shoplifting or stealing money. :-)

Hang in there...they will give up eventually.

I am having these same issues with this company, the call me last friday, he said he wanted to give me a chance to pay of this loan, if not they will be serving me at work or at home, they somehow got 2 of my sisters phone numbers and called them saying if i dont pay this loan, i would be in trouble, i told my sisters they are scammers, and if they call again just dont answer the call, or if they start talking just hang up on them and yesterday i received one of those pre recorded message saying that if i didnt take care of this i would be served at work or on my job, i am so sick of these companies, somehow they get your information, and then they call you with threats, they want you to be so scared that you will just send them money, i told the guy too that this call is being recorded and he said i didnt have that right.

I keep calling them back and they keep using back words at me but I told them they are scammers and if I keep calling them back that would be one less person they could call and harasse they just keep hanging up.  But I am done with them but I did learn that if we put our information in on-line like doing a on-line loan that they get all the information too.  I with I would of known that so for those out there do not get an on-line loan r you would be going through  everyone out there having you info like social security number I have them leaving my ss # on my answering machine all the time so where does the legal come in?

3rd call from this number this week.  Called them back and immediately you hear a recording "this call will be recorded" and when the man answered the phone, I told him, you are being recorded, this call is being recorded.  He started yelling at me, saying I had no right to do that and he hung up.

I called back a 2nd time, and again, got the message, your call is being recorded, and the same man answered the phone, and once again, I told him, my conversation with him is being recorded, and he said that they are not recording the conversation, why should I?  So there is a discrepancy between their introduction recording and what a live person states.  Told him he was harassing us and to stop it or we would take this to our state attorney's office for action.  Again he hung up on me.

Call their bluff.....they don't want to be challenged because they are lying

They called an employer of mine from 3 years ago threatening legal action. What a JOKE> These people are scammers and it is illegal what they are doing. I don't have any advice on how to get them to stop, I just wish they would. Luckily they do not have my new employers' number. They also claim I owe on a payday loan and if I just wire them some money they will not press charges.  Right...that sounds totally legit. NOT!
