Got a call on May 13 @4:09 PM.  I think a message was left, something about the Life Alert device you ordered was ready to ship.  We have no seniors or anybody that would need this living in my house.   Caller ID said Michigan call.  I don't answer or return calls from numbers I don't know.

Scammers do not honor the do not call list.

Medic Alert...left same message on my machine as above....   GRRRR....

Mom has been getting calls from this # twice a week for about a month. I signed her up on the DNC list a few years ago and renewed it about 6 months ago so I'm thinking this person disregards the list.

313 is the Detroit area- area code  782 is the Flat Rock first part of there phone number but their area code is 734, so when the two didn't match I didn't pick up as I was at work.  Have been on do not call list for a long time, but somehow that doesn't seem to matter to these people.

Got a call from this number. I have been bothered by calls from calls from 209 782 0039 about a California Cash Advance by a man with a heavy accent, Indian or Middle East. I got many so I called back multiple times. The man got tired of me calling so swore at me. I told him I believed that the outfit he claimed to be from was listed on the net as a scam. I wondered aloud to him about terrorist groups using this kind of a scam to steal from Americans and send to terrorist organizations. I said I would call the police in, and he then informed me he was a police officer. I told him to identify himself. He refused. Since then I have been tele bombed by these people from multiple numbers. I have made a police report and they are following up. The police called the number, and an hour later I got another call from these people. Now I received a call from the med alert number. This may be another scam by these same people. I have sent in the latest to the police for follow up. I will be posting more information as it goes on.

This # claimed a "pre-paid" medical alert system would be shipped if I pressed "5" to give my address.  It claimed the unspecified system would come at "no cost what-so-ever," an obvious lie in my opinion.  Calling this # back returns a pause followed by a dialtone.  If it calls again, I'm going to find out if a live person would come on, and give that live person a piece of my mind if so.  There is no doubt charges would come from accepting such a product, which makes the recorded message a lying crime, in my opinion.

I'm sick of these calls.  This number started up 2 days ago.

This place called and started talking about the medical alert I ordered. I started telling him that I never ordered anything and realized I was listening to a recording so, I hung up the phone. After that I filed a complaint with DoNotCall registry and then logged on to this site to read about other peoples encounters. There's not much here except for Sharon from today 4 hours ago. I will check back later to see what others report.

SCAM ALERT!!! Caller says he is calling to ship a FREE Medic-Alert system that is already paid for by unknown person(s) and he continues to ramble  on ignoring questions. SCAM ALERT!!!! He refuses to give any info. Lookup of area and first three digits shows it is coming from Dearbornistan (a Islamist dominated suburb of Detroit) SCAM ALERT!!!

Medic Alert Scam.  As soon as I asked for the name of the company and the identity of the person who ordered the Medic Alert system he hung up.

Picked up call.  Said he was John from the shipping dept.  I hung up immediately

this man has called 3 times this week.  He sounds scary

Did not answer the phone, I do screen most of my calls.

Yep they have been calling me for months - I think the next time I will blow a whistle in their ear.  I may be elderly but not stupid - a lot of the time I don't answer

I didn't listen beyond the caller stating he was the shippiing department for emergency medical alert.  Pure junk and possible scam.

Beware Seniors!  Possible Life Alert type SCAM! Male caller may be targeting the elderly.  Said he had to have access to the inside of elderly parents house to set up a "free" security system which was ordered by a relative (but didn't have a reltive's name).  Called number back and it went to an unidentified voicemail.  Beware!  No rep resentative name or company name given.
