Automated message. They are not telemarketers because they are non-profit organizations which are not subject to the "do not call" list's restrictions. Expect to have them continue calling. I don't know why they waste their time when you clearly aren't going to donate.

Obvious telemarketing call.  Phone rang four times, then quit.  Though the ID said, "Local Area Call," the Area Code was not from my Area Code, so it could have been faked.  I never answer such calls, and block them on my Panasonic phone.  I've found that's the only way to stop them.  Putting my number of the "Do Not call List" hasn't deterred them at all.
