I have gotten calls from MO ST (314)244-8099 eight times today. After I answered a couple of times and all I heard was beeps, I screened the calls from that point on, picked up, and hung up.  I did try calling back, but all it did was ring with no answer.  I googled the number and found this message board.  Anyone ever find out who owns this number??

This comes from the Missouri Unemployment or Food stamp office.

Was Veterans Home calling to tell of an opening. Yes, we had been asked to be informed as we have a family member waiting for a spot in a Veteran's Home. I know it doesn't make sense as you think of Veterans Homes as being Fed, not state. I believe as Sachmo said earlier; this is a universal caller ID number used by state of Mo. This number is shown even when its not the number from which call originated.

This is a general number used by the state of missouri for long distance calls originating in state offices.

They have been calling me for the past 6-7 weeks on monday nights without answering or leaving a message. cannot call back  just rings

got a call from this number today too.  called back and got a busy signal.  my guess it really is from the prison facility.  that would be a mo state number.  sometimes they find a phone and give it a shot.

This number continues to call my home number. Ther is no caller ID. Also no answer if call back.

I received a call from this number as well.  If it is the MO state Child Support, why aren't they answering!?

12:45pm... Received a call from MO ST (314)244-8099 three times in a row. All three times I answered and there seemed to be nobody on the other end of the phone, however, there were series of beeps..
That seems pretty strange. When I called the number back nobody answered it just continued to ring, ring, ring, and ring...............

I do not know who it is or what they could possibly want

Caller ID said MO ST - Might just mean they were calling from Missouri, not necessarily a government organization.

call from above on cell, called back, no answer.....

Caller called my parents house.  Caller ID said MO ST which I am assuming means the State of Missouri.  Caller did not identify themselves and would not leave a message just asked if I was there.  Tried to call it back and all the number did is ring.

I got a call from this number said they were from Farming Correctional Center
