Hung up on me..I think I scared him. I answered the phone like I was mean..lol

just checking the identity of the owner of the listed phone number.

i got this scam phone call even though i have a service called "call interceptor with FAIRPOINT COMMUNICATIONS"{USED TO BE CALLED VERIZON }..it was a woman saying she was representing vetarans assistance foundation..i told her i had the do not call list , and please not to call me ANYMORE . i then tried to program in that number to my call interceptor plan{which costs me 3.73 per month}aqnd it would not take it to the no call list that i am forming..it said the number is not serviced by FAIRPOINT COMM . ,so i could not add it to my interceptor list..will have to call security again to see what to do next...these people have to be stopped from taking over my phone service..they are
SCAMMERS  and should be in jail!

Just got this call.  They asked for my father by name.  I told the caller I would like to talk to him also but he has been dead for 20 years.  The caller identified himself as representing the Vetrans Assistance Foundation.  The caller then when into a pitch about homeless vetrans and how the economy has hurt them as well as senior citizens.  He asked if I could donate at the lowest level of $20.  I told him spare anything at this time.  He thanked me and then hung up.  This is the second call I've gotten asking for my father since the first of May.  The first one sounded like a political survey of some sort.  Wonder where they got their lists from.

just called..sounded like a machine shop in background..then hung up..no message

Spoofed caller id " 314-266-5438 LOCAL AREA CALL "
Answered a "lower credit card interest" scam phone call yesterday.
Never give out any information over the phone....if important, a legit. company will mail documents certified return receipt for legal evidence.
