This number just called me. Wasting my minutes!
People keep calling me asking for "Andy". I wish I knew who that guy was, I'd give him a piece of my mind.

This number is Receivables Performance Management. 1930 220th Street SE. Ste. 101. Bothel Washington. They are the leg-breakers for Sprint and other companies.
If harassed by this company, and you are and will continue to be, then contact your State Attorney General's office immediately and file a consumer complaint. These people at RPM are scofflaws.

This company calls me daily. The machine ask for Gilchrist eminent. In the beginning, I would hold listening to piano musica until I became disgustd and hang up. Now I hang up as soon as I hear "Gilchrist eminent".
I have signed up for the Do Not Call list.

I have received numerous calls from this number and they ask for a Amber Scott. LOL! I finally decided to accept the call by pressing "1" and waited for someone to take my call. There was piano music playing for me and I was on hold for like 5 mins. The female who took my call said that hey would remove my number from their list, so lets see what happens. I think I am going to contact my service provider and see what I can do. Very annoying!!!!!!

I received a call from this number as well. First time, however, I've received numerous calls from another number, same name in Bothel 866-212-7408. I don't know how they got my cell number. I've put my name on a do not call list, so I don't understand why they're calling. I will report them to the Attorney General's office. Not sure that will do any good though. I see numerous complaints regarding this and the 866 number. Doesn't seem as though anything is being done.

This phone number has constantly called my home number, and haven't left a message?
Mac 2011-06-06 20:49:10 Unknown
Calls daily asking if they have reached Bellingham First Mortgage... Then gives an option to press 1 if you are BFM or 2 if you aren't .. I press 2 and it asks me to have BFM call 1-888-745-9322 ...
I tried calling the 1-888 number but no one answers so I called the 425 number the call originally came in on ... They said that they would remove my number from their list ..
I think the lady answered saying I had reached RPM which might be the big collections company based in Bothell WA .. But I have no problems with anything in that area so I think my number was in their system by error
Jenba 2009-05-10 07:45:25 Unknown
I got a call from this company on a "Saturday" at 8:46pm. They left no message!!!
lgl 2009-05-03 17:01:07 Unknown
Better than that, file a complaint with the FCC. I did this with another number that is the SAME company. They are a SCAM organization as far as I am concerned they have bogus information they simply have a name and then they get you to verify information over the phone. the fcc web site is:
FCC.GOV
If everyone will file complaints perhaps this company can be taken down and we can be free of harassing phone calls to people we never even heard of. Good luck

I have also started recieving calls from this number, but with me there was a name that showed up on my caller ID, it was "Kirkland". So I, like RescueTech34 had some time so I googled the area code and found out that one of the places that carried that area code was the city of Kirkland, in Washington State. I wasn't able to find an address for the company,or the exact number that showed up on my phone. However, this may be enough information for you to start your research. Some other cities in Washington State that carried this area code were:
Bellvue,Bothell, Edmonds, Everett, Lynwood and Renton.
Hope this helps.

On my Caller ID the number showed as "Kirkland WA". The message left is: "this call is for 'Kenny XXX', if this is not 'Kenny XXX', press 2".
I get this type of call at LEAST 10 times a week. When I call, and IF anyone answers, I get the same response: They are a collection agency looking for Kenny XXX (who just happens to have the same last name as me). I tell them there is no Kenny XXX at this address or phone number and ask them to remove my number from their calling list. I think these are just highly aggressive collectors who run checks of last names if the people they're trying to find and call every number that matches.
When I called the number back today there was a recorded message saying "this number is not in service" blah, blah, blah.

Same as others--after long delay, no message. Though it odd that I got a call from an unknown area code on a Sunday morning.

These types of "companies" ARE the scum of the earth. They truly are the knuckle-draggers who delight in abusing people especially in hard economic times like we're in now. Report theses SOB's to your state's attorney general's office or your state's consumer affairs department. Hmmm, I wonder if AIG, Wall street, the big three, etc are getting these types of calls too? No, wait a minute--the a***oles we send to D.C. take care of their buddies while doing NOTHING to pass legislation that REALLY protects the consumer. We get it in the rear-ALWAYS! This is the first call from them I got, today, December 14, 2008. I know now NOT to answer when that number comes up on caller I.D.

Howdy all. I just got a call from this number, 1-425-354-1563 and decided to search on anywho.com as a reverse look up. This number is based in Bothwell, Wa btw. Decided to also place this number into goggle search as well. Will NOT be calling back and WILL BLOCK. Thanks go to this site and to each of you for your input. Down with ALL phone trolls.

I have tried the toll free number and can not get through.
Unwanted calls 2008-09-27 21:27:19 Unknown
Number Calls and says the number you have reached is not in service when you try calling it back.
This is very strange.

I sued these people and forced a nice cash settlement out of them. It was quite satisfying!
I check back on these forum every now and then to see if these SOB's are still up to their old tricks, and it pains me to see that they continue to victimize people on such a large scale. Here are my suggestions, based on my experience:
Document all calls. Keep detailed notes. Never provide these people with any information. Regardless of what they say, you are under no obligation to prove yourself innocent. Download a copy of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and familiarize yourself with it. If you send a cease-and-desist letter, use certified mail. Your receipt has powerful standing in federal court.
Do not count on the FTC or any state attorney general to do anything to defend you against these people. They simply will not act. Don't even mention the Better Business Bureau; they have no enforcement power, and the RPM representatives will understandably laugh if you threaten to report them.
There are law firms that specialize in consumer protection, and you may find one that will represent you on a contingency basis. That means you can smack these SOB's not only with a statutory settlement for yourself but also for attorney fees--and with attorney fees, the sky's the limit! You can use this fact to really stick it to the "collectors."
The dirty secret of the "collections business," I learned in the course of my defense against them, is that they usually have no legal claim against those whom they harass, even if the purported debtor really owes a debt. These "collections companies" are in reality shakedown rackets that buy names and phone numbers of people who may have owed money, BUT THE DEBT IS NOT TRANSFERRED IN ANY LEGAL SENSE. Thus they don't care if you once owed money to Sprint or merely have the same name as someone who did.
So please take heed: This particular company is a frickin' sitting duck, because they're in the U.S., subject to federal law, and their physical address is right out there in the open. Their business model is based on the correct assumption that most people don't know the law or, if they do, won't act on it.
Defending yourself is simply a matter of educating yourself, knowing your rights, documenting every contact with them, and finding the right lawyer. Better yet, find a lawyer who's hungry and will take your case to the next level, making it a class action.
