I got the same call about one day ago? Whats going on?

Me too.  Just got the same call. I'm in SW Washington.  Glad I checked here.  Also, no debt to consolidate.

Got a call from this number. Guy said "Uh, hi," then didn't respond. I tried to call it back, but the number is disconnected.

its pretty funny that i got it seeing as i'm a teenager with no CCs. i've only been an adult for 2 days! obviously a scam. i wish they would stop calling my cell phone cuz i have to pay by the minute! grrrrr... oh, and i'm in ohio.

got a call, "uh hello" then a hang up. No retry so I think they are verifying cell phone numbers.  I did not call back but checked this site.  It a great site!

Just received the same call on my cell.  I'm in Houston.  I've heard that some of these types of callers are sometimes able to get a phone number of someone who has recently moved so even if you do a reverse look up, the name and address are probably not correct.

just got the same call i  answered i heard hi or something of that then nothing else i hung up. From ky. here

called my internal work #- man sys uh hi- then line cut off.  He probably hung up after he realized he was calling a place of business.  Caller id # is a disconnected #.  there should be some law against businesses displaying fake numbers on their caller id.

got a call from this number on my google number. i have no idea how they would get that, especially since i've only had it a few months and haven't given it out much. i didn't answer it so they left a voicemail.... saying nothing.

Just got the same thing here in North Carolina -

"Steve Will calling. I wanted to talk to you about the new regulations that are just coming out, worth your time to call, lower your CC down to 1.5% or even lower.  So again, it's me, Steve." (Cause we're best friends)

He called me too this morning on my cell number . Didn't answer when I said hello. I let him hang up first. I would never call back. Think this guy is generating a solistation phone list to sell to someone else probaly. They need to call to see if and WHEN someone answered the call.

I received this call just now and found this site after googling the number.

I answered, a voice said "Hi" and then nothing else.  When I tried to call back the number comes up disconnected.

Man says Hello, After I answer, He hangs up.  I call back to the number showing up and the operator says the number is disconnected. Pscho Techniques.  Don't waste your time calling back. "FREAKS"

Called, I didn't answer left vm stating new laws can lock my interest rate into lower rate. Said his name was steve and his phone number was 800-321-8451

I got the call as well from the same # and I live in Las Vegas...I do not even have a creditcard???wth...I think this must be a scam...I didn't pick up either but they left me the same message as the others above.

This website is great! I received the call and it went to voicemail and most of it was cut off.  I only heard "call 1-800 blah blah".  But, now I know that I didn't miss an important call!  The call was a bunch of BS!  Thanks!!

Got a call from this number an hour ago while working. "Hello" "uh hi" "whose calling? *no answer* "hello?" I hung up

I got the same call at 10:16am (it is now 1:57pm). The VM was cut off, but what was left said something about "confirming that this is your number" and an 800 number was left with an extension, I believe. I didn't call back, obviously.

How annoying.

I'm in Phoenix, AZ.

Did not answer because I didn't recognize number.  They left voicemail - start of message cut off; offered to consolidate, same as others.  I don't answer these because it verifies for them that it's a valid phone number which they can sell to other data miners.

received this call on 10-29-09 at about 4:15 p.m.  did not recognize and did not return

got same as everyone else basically. only thing is i didn't give him a change to hang up, i hung up first.

Same msg. Called me at work. I think it was random.  Stated Non-profit..... and we can lower your interest rate to 1.9%, but I need you to call now.  Please call 1 800-978-4586 ask for Kelly, but the caller ID  read 314-16-7303.  

I'M NOT CALLING either number.
