The ID on this call came up as Missouri. - but I think I answered it once and it was Edward Jones...but I already have a local agent. I'm not impressed with this 'guy' for trying to horn in on my local agents territory. Yep ...he called in Sept. Not doing any investing with someone out of my comfort zone. Not going to ever answer this number again. Never leaves a message so he can jump through hoops and I'll give him a on handed round of applause.
As far as I am concerned 'he' is a telemarketer. I think I'll report this number to my local agent. And let them know I'm not happy with nor want to buy (or sell) individual stock that this twit would recommend.

Received call from this number this am too. They did not leave voicemail message but I am in Edward Jones database so that maybe them.

Not my Ed Jones rep. I pick up a call last week. Told him to send me info. Buy this stock. Knew when he'd be calling back. Didn't answer. Told him I call back if I was interested. I'm not just trying to sell individual stock.
Not buying.

asked if I can accept a payment/funds transfer for a Mrs. ____ (forget the name) and then asked if I was ready for her account number?

They called me when i was at work. it was edward jones, but not my broker. it was someone else. my broker told me only to deal with him and if anyone else calls don't do business with them.
the guy on the phone wanted to know how much was in my saving account and how much was in my retirement. i told him it wasn't any of his business, but he continued to want me to give him more information to invest in oil.
i said no and he called me back and i literally yelled at him, telling him i'm at work and i don want to invest in anything he laughed and said he was going to call me back and hung up. what a jerk.

I have done some business with Edward Jones. This guy called and said that he was working with my local agent. He kept trying to get me to divulge information about my retirement. Hmmmmm, if he was really working with my agent, he would know all that now wouldn't he? Refused to give him any info. Will be calling my agent in the AM. Here is some interesting info from the BBB:

Lots and lots of complaints. I am thinking I am going to add mine...

received calls from this number on both my home telephone line and cellular phone. Both numbers have been listed on the National Do Not Call registry.

Received a call 2/13/12. No message left. If it was a legitimate business, the caller would have left a message. My number is registered on the Do Not Call registry. Phishing is getting more and more pervasive. Be ware.

Never transact financial business over the phone, unless you initiate it with a company that you do business. If they call you, hang up. If it's legit you'll get documents in the mail.

Definately scammers. They left me VM this morning about cable contracts needing to be signed for my building. My secretary said they could fax them to her for me to sign as the landlord. They just need my fax number. Just a couple of problems with this. I'm not the owner/landlord of the building I work in. It's a commercial office building. Why do I need cable tv? Also I dont have a secretary.

I got a phone call rom 314-515-2000 at my office and did not recognize the number on the display so I did not answer it. No message was left on my voicemail. Within five seconds my personal cell phone rang displaying the same telephone number. Again I did not answer the call and no message was left. When I googled the number I discovered it is from the St. Louis area and connected to Edward Jones Investments. A couple of weeks earlier I received a call from a man in Arizona who identified himself as someone who was with Edward Jones and working in conjunction with my local Edward Jones Rep. He seemed to know somethings about me. I agreed to gather some information regarding my 401K plan and discuss it with him on a specific date and time one evening after work. I waited for the call for over 30 minutes and the phone never rang. Whether it is a scam or not, I will not entertain any further telephone solicitations of this nature from Edward Jones Investments or any other firm.

Did you or anyone in your family/household ever have investments with them? EJ calls me occasionally to check on my investments with them. Or, they might have an outdated number on file. It's nothing scary.

Called, no message? Why someone from Edward Jones would want to call me?
| lc 2010-10-15 20:49:23 Unknown |
Got a call Tuesday night on my home phone, and 3 seconds later on my cell phone. No message was left, but the caller ID did say Edward Jones. I have no investments w/ this company anymore and my former broker is not the one calling me! I tried calling it back, and it said " an Edward Jones investor will be with you in a moment!" I hubg up after waiting a few moments! I do not know how they got my numbers!

This came up as result #4 when entering this phone number into Google:
Edward Jones Investments
(314) 515-2000
201 Progress Pkwy
Maryland Heights, MO 63043-3009
The 314-515-xxxx looked familiar. When landing on this site and seeing Edward Jones, I searched back on my call history from a number of weeks ago ... when I received a similar area code and prefix ... it was 314-515-6122. Like back then, I didn't get to the phone in time, and no one left me a message.

Edward Jones is a well-respected investment corporation. They call me occasionally to check on my investments. They're not telemarketers. If you were called but do not have investments with them, it's more likely that either the person who had your number before you invested with them, OR they misdialed.

4 calls between 5:30 and 6:00 am. I didn't answer because I was trying to sleep. Tried to call it back to tell them what I think of their repeated phone calls but didn't get through to anyone.

Well I've had my number forever. I missed a call from the same number
yesterday. No message. I have no idea how they got my number.
| Tony 2009-04-13 20:33:50 Unknown |
They are a recruiter, you most likely submitted a resume to them and they are calling to set up an interview via telephone.

It was Edward Jones. Something about donating to a capital campaign. This was on my TracFone cell number which was used by someone previously (at least 6 months ago).
