Same company, same scam, different phone number this time.  Received a call on 6/23/11 at 9:40am.  Caller ID said US Benefits, but the guy said he was calling from Senior Dept.  Senior Dept has called me dozens of times, using different numbers, and they keep calling despite my being on the no-call list AND my specifically telling them not to call me again.  When you get a call from Senior Dept, they always know your name, and they begin a spiel about our President's health care bill, then they want to know what type of insurance you have, if it's through your employer, the name of your insurance company, how much your premiums are, and even how much your co-pay is.  DON'T TELL THEM ANYTHING.  All such calls should be reported to the no-call registry AND to the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?sid=d1e37&id=d1e53.

Received a call from "Senior Benefits" - and did answer the health insurance survey - though it wasn't too intrusive. Received a second call from the survey taker's manager - asking if I had life insurance.  I'm guessing a sales call is next.  I initially answered it because I thought I recognized the number. I am also on the federal and state do-not-call registries - for whatever effectiveness those have.

Caller asked for me by name. I told him he had reached me. He identified himself as "Kenneth", stating that he was calling from the "senior benefits team". I asked who the "senior benefits team is, and he said they are a "licensed insurance agency in Bridgeton [Missouri]" and that they are "conducting a survey", that "this is not a sales call". I asked for the phone number, and he said it is 314-536-3607. I told him that I have had calls from "senior benefits team" with that number before, and did not want calls from them again. I said we are on the Missouri no-call list and should not be called. He said they have no way of knowing that. I told him yes they do, and told him that if he did not know that, then they have a management problem. I asked him to take me off their call list. He said he would destroy the card he had in front of him with my name on it. I asked to be connected with the supervisor, and he said he was not able to do that. He gave me the same number as above, to call and ask for a supervisor. We ended the call, and I intended to call for a supervisor, but soon thought that might get construed as "starting a business relationship" which would allow them to flout the no-call principle, so I did not try. "Kenneth" was polite throughout the call, as I was too, but I just can't believe him, based on my having previous calls from persons "from the senior benefits team", giving the same number, in each of which I declined to participate in the "survey" and requested not to be called, and after one of which I made a Missouri No-call complaint (July 1, reported on July 18).

Just called here asking for my husband.  Said it was Leah from the Senior Benefits team.  Couldn't understand her  and asked her to spell it out.  Took the phone to my hubby and she had hung up.  We, too, are on the do not call list.  I'll have to report them as well.

These people have called me before, from a different number.  Although the caller ID said US Benefits, the lady said she was calling from Senior Dept, which is the company name they always use.  The routine was the same: she asked for me by name, said she was talking a survey, asked if I was aware of what the administration was doing with the health care package, and that's as far as I let her get.  Don't answer any questions, because they'll ask if you're insured through your employer, the name of your insurance company, the type of coverage you have, and they'll even ask how much your co-pay is.  I'm unlisted and am also on the no call registry, so I don't know how these jerks keep finding my number, but I don't let them off the hook.  I always post the number of annoying phone calls on sites like this, and I also report them to the no call registry, then I take it a step further and report them to the FTC.  You have to click on the Consumer Complaint button on the right side of their home page, then fill out the Complaint Assistant.
