They identified themselves as Enterprise Rent-A-Car. They called me at 8:43 PM and I have no idea why because I hung up.

I also received a call with no message from this number and it was 2 days after I turned in my rental car from Enterprise. I called back and was notified by a recording that it was Merit Research.

Yes, I just got a phone call from 314-558-6686 on my cell phone, I didn't pick up, and they left no message.  I just rented a vehicle from Enterprise 5 days ago, and when I did, I gave them my cell phone number.

Called back. Recorded answering system identified number as "Meritz Research."

It is Enterprise, they do a quick 5 question survery on a percentage of their customers.
This survery is a HUGE deal at Enterprise. They aim for 80% completely satisfied, which let me tell is HARD! I worked there for three years and only 2 months was I able to pull an 80.

So in the interest of those hard workers there, unless it sucked real bad, give them a completely satisfied!!

I received a call from this number, and I too, rented from enterprise yesterday.

I got a call on my cell phone. They did not leave a message, but after reading other comments I realized that it must be from this car company. I rented from them last week.

Received a call at 5:23 p.m.(eastern) They left no message. I traced the call and it is Maritz Research working for Enterprize.

I recently rented an Enterprize Vehicle and the number they called was the number I gave them for the rental info.  If you call 1-800-864-8601 Maritz Research has an automatic "no call" register.  Problem Solved

Just got a call from 314-558-6686 at 5:55pm EDT. No one on the line when I answered.  No VM.  I just rented a car from Enterprise (in NJ) on 8/5 while mine was in for repairs.

I just got a call from this company and no one left a message.  I looked it up and it says Enterprise.  No message though.

somebody called me from this number on my cell yesterday evening around 5:45pm. it was about some survey but i said i wasn't interested and hung up.

The area code 314 is St. Louis, MO. I don't know anyone here.  Even if I did, someone I know would leave a message.

i rented from enterprise over the weekend and received a call frm this number tonight at around 8pm or so.. they hung up though when i answered and i didnt call back.

i usually rent from budget.. they never bother me with this kind of garbage, but the enterprise thing was for a work function.

I got a call tonight at 5:53PM I don't know anyone in that area code. Might be sales call. They left no message.

I just received the same no VM call from 314-558-6686 at 5:12pm PST.  I rented a car from Enterprise 7/29-8/2/08.   I called the number.  They are a market research firm wanting you to answer questions.  If this is due to renting from Enterprise, I will let them know about this next time I need a car.

I also got a call from the number around 5pm (PST).

Enterprise would make sense in my case.  I did just rent a car.  But I'm with an earlier reporter--Sunday afternoon?  Come on!

Call received 4PM Sunday, Aug 3, 2008. No message, hung up when voice mail started. Caller listed as Enterprise but haven't rented with them in six months.
