Calls repeatedly at all hours of the night (anywhere from 10 pm-2 am)...EVERY NIGHT...we don't have an alarm system and have never signed up for one. When we answer the phone, they hang up.

I just got off the phone with a technician from Interface. They had a record of the phone call in question...it was legitimate. My phone service had been off for three days prior and they were doing a courtesy call to check the service. The problem was that the person who called, did so at 10:59 pm and I found that to be quite questionable. Interface told me that admittedly, that person was not supposed to call me that late but at least they checked to be sure there was no problem at my home. That's what we pay them to do, isn't it ?

This is the number the security company from my office alarm system calls from when the alarm goes off. I have never received any kind of sales call from them, just calls to let me know the alarm is going off.

This was from hawk security supervisor calling to tell me even though the business closed that was associated with the hawk account, I still had to pay for the autorenewal that I was never reminded of before it happened.
I just advised them to collect the monies from the closed bank account, of the now closed company, if they can.

There is more about Interface Security Systems that you should be aware of. If you sign up for their alarm system and don't notice all the fine print, you are obligating yourself to pay for their monitoring for 5 years. And it autorenews after that if you don't cancel in a 60-day window. So if you happen to sell your house, you're screwed and have to pay the balance of the 5-year contract. I know this from sad first-hand experience.

they keep calling over and over, asking to speak to the owner. When asked who is calling they say it is a 'courtesy call about the alarm system'. When asked if they are an active vendor, they try to weasel their way through the questions with stupid answers that don't answer the actual question. They are a PEST and despite asking not to call, they call again and again. My next step will be a complaint filing with the FCC against them. By the way, they will try to find out if you have an alarm system or not. DO NOT answer those questions. They are crooks and do not need to know what type of security (or lack thereof) you might have on your property!
