Text message from Indianapolis.    Likely nonsense taking my 50 cents to receive an unsolicited text.     (Was recently looking at rentals in a completely different area code.    Beware of out of state landlords that want you to wire them a deposit.)

Maisha Williams is a scam artist!!!!!! We were trying to rent a house that he alleged is owned by him. He wanted us to send a deposit via either Western Union or money order. We asked to see the home before any monetary transactions were made. He would not comply and said that the key would not be sent until we sent a deposit. In the beginning communications, he sent us pictures (a whole lot) of himself as well as a copy of his driver's license. We decided not to work with him due to his noncompliance of allowing us to see the inside of the home prior to sending money. WE ALL HAVE A LEGITIMATE CASE!!!! I goggled his name and found this site. Can you tell me specifically what happened? I just looked at a property owned by the same man who says he lives out of state. The number used is a 313 area code. Just want to be sure I'm not walking into a scam.

I experienced the exact same problem with "Dorothy Grafman" imposter and now she/he is using the number 5869131334

I was calling this number to rent a house in Carlsbad Ca. The persons, "Martins Rollins' & his wife, Dorothy Grafman" represented themselves as the owners 'working in Michigan.' The real owner IS Dorothy Grafman, but she lives in a retirement home in CA and knew nothing about these imposters. Fortunately, I did not send money!

There is a man Misrepresenting himself as the owner of a house in Princeton Lakes subdivision in the Atlanta suburb of East Point.  Please report him to the authorities.  He is saying that his name is Williams Maisha and that his house for rent but it is a scam.  He is working with and Antonio Hinton.  I have a call in to the FBI and I also have a call in to the FTC because I was taken by this scam and lost money.
