I am tired of calls from this number... I have not contacted them yet but I want to report them for prosicution if available..

July 1,2,9, 09 hang ups.   8-24-09 in AM a male caller, this is for Renee Cox, NCO Financial Systems. I told caller there is no one by that name here at this number. same day PM call noise and men talking in the background, then caller hung up. did not get # for these calls.

7-31-09 eve. female caller saying, oh my gosh leon then hung up. an online search showed call came from Bridgeton, MO.

Reported to F.B.I. Do the same and eventually action will be taken.

This is from BCR, Bureau of Credit Recovery. It's a collection agency. They spoof phone numbers to get you to answer.

They are very aggressive; you will bet better off just to pay them. They are relentless. If you ignore the calls, they will move past trying to settle with you and just sue you in court.

They buy charged off debts for pennies on the dollar. So you can settle for far less than they say you owe. Refuse, and you'll pay the full amount, interest, and fees. Don't mess with these guys?they play dirty to get any info from you and then file in court.

Let's put the owners and management teams of these telemarketing firms to sleep.  They have no shame.

I just also received a call from US6882, same number 314-627-5579. Called at 8:17am.
No message left. Weird seeing a number with a caller ID with US6882.  But like many of you, Thank God for Caller ID and also we have Cox Cable so whenever someone calls it pops up on my TV.
So anyway, since I didn't recognize the number or name or whatever they call themselves I didn't answer and they left no message. Guess we will see if they start again tomorrow or beginning of next week.  
Matter of fact I've been being harrased by Love, Beal and Nixon, bill collectors out of OKC, OK. Granted I know I owe bills, but at the same time when I got the credit cards, had a great job as well as hubby. Then out of the blue I developed all kinds of problems. Degenitive Disk Disease, Fibromyalgia, Myofacial Neuropathy, Had to file for SS Disability. This was back in 2003 when I filed. FINALLY after 8yrs of not giving up I finally won my case. The last time those bill collectors called they never speak to you directly, So I left a message flat out asked them what credit card it was and if it was over 7yrs old. If so they cannot harrass you anymore. I looked up the laws in OK. Some states it's 5yrs. Plus I told them flat out to stop calling me, Not to get into my whole life, but my youngest daughter who was 16, took her own life on March 3rd of this year. It was so unexpected and so hard to get over. So I don't know if that had an impact or how old the bill was, either way they have stopped calling. I'm not kidding, these bill collectors are pitbulls and rottweilers all in one. So cruel and hateful.  Asking questions about how I pay my bills, can't I have a friend or family member to help. I admit I get hateful right back. None of their business how my bills are paid. Plus I couldn't predict the future and expect to become disabled. believe me, if I could still work I'd be working.
Anyway, sorry for rambling. I tend to get long winded and talking about my daughter helps. It's better than keeping it in all inside. Crying a little everyday is better than bottling it up. If I did that I would be in a hospital.
OK, sorry for all the yacking, those that read this, thank you.   You all take care and hopefully these calls will stop. What's the point of the Do not call list??? Doesn't seem to be helping,

i got a call from this phone # solicintg  $12.00 a month to help veterans. I told them not to call me and I certainly did not have any money to give. Call back to the number  only get a message to leave your phone #. I am sure this is a big  SCAM. I do not understand  why  I am getting this call. I am register  in the No Call Listing.

Got a call from this number this morning on my home phone...funny thing was that just before this call, I got another call from 816-273-8295, since it said 'cell phone', I answered it but no one was there...after I hung up, within 2 minutes this number with the odd US6882 caller ID came in....could there be a connection?

@ Ron , yeah they scam & I agree with you BUT as long as a boiler room operation donates like 10 or 12% or something to the Vets or whatever they become legal. Quit calling me MoFos or I'll just ping you're ISP and be waiting in the parking lot after a little research. Doesn't take me long to pin you down. Nice Trace & Deepwhois are good starting points for those who want to start tracking people, especially if they're local you can do a lot of damage for those getting harassed. Caller ID listed this one as US6882 -  They hang up if you do answer the phone, then call back and won't leave a message...

My caller ID tracks this number as US6882 314-627-5579. A land line from from St Louis Missouri. When I picked up, a recording asked me to please hold for next representative. This was followed by a hang up. When I called the number back I just got an answering machine. After reading that this is a scam pretending to collect money for breast cancer I only have this to say. Anyone who is so disconnected from humanity that they would spend their life stealing money from something as important as cancer research, should really take a moment out of their day to put a shotgun in their mouth...

I didn't answer.  The phone only rang 3 times; never made it to the answering machine. Caller ID showed US6882.

I get calls from this number and they never say anything if I answer the phone.  So I just don't answer when I see that number.  They don't leave a message on my answering machine either.

I didn't answer, but the caller ID said US6882.  Thought maybe it was someone from the military.

These people called this afternoon asking for donations to Amvets.  When my husband asked them who they were and what they wanted, they got defensive and nasty, so he hung up on them.  It's a scam.  They only want your money.  It only goes into their pockets--not Amvets or any other charity.

got a call from 314-627-5579 at 1:19 this afternoon. Phone rang twice and hung up before I could get there. If the telephone companies don't do something to stop these annoying calls to people eveyone should cancel their service!

Just got call from 314-627-5579. Did not answer. Have called id. rang 4 times and stopped. Shows it is a flight number.???????? when looked up on search and cam up with US flight 6882 St Louis.???

We just got a call from this number. Hung up when I answered. SO obviously the scammers are back in action.

Called and did not leave a message.  Since I allow any unknown number to go to voicemail, nothing but a nuisance call.

the number 314-627-5579 called me today the caller id says us6882 I was gone when i got the call so I dont know who they are or what they want. I see by the posts its a scammer. THEY are so LUCKY I didnt answer the phone when they called. LOL I would have given a few words of encouragement. hahahahaha

I got one today, they didn't leave a message, so I called them back and left a message that I was filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission for their calling our number, which is on the National Do Not Call List.

Thank you - very informative.  I received a call from "US6882" (314) 627-5579 but missed the call.  When I called back I received a machine which asked me to leave my name and telephone number.

I do not answer as it is unfamiliar to me.
