This is not going to assist anyone here, however, I have received calls countless times and of course, no one leaves a message.  I've searched the web with multiple "possibilities."

I get a call from this number everyday !!! but no one is there on other side

This number calls me at least once a day. Caller ID says Contact Center. I picked up once and it was silent and sounded like maybe a computer call so I hung up.

caller ID always says Contact Center an there is silence on the other end- they have been calling for about a week now - we are a business, not residential.

It's CIO Magazine (they wanted me to resubscribe).  I finally picked up.  I doubt their local, but their number is a local St. Louis number (I'm in St. Louis).  How sneaky!

I got a call from this number.

Several calls during the last couple of weeks have been received from this number,  no reply when we answer, no listing found on the major directory search engines.

they are still calling.  sometimes they are there, asking for someone in my office.  sometimes it's no-one, they just hang-up.  every time I call back, I get the recording about free subscriptions and leaving a name and number to be removed from the call list.  I left both of our numbers AGAIN, then an hour later they call again and hang up.

I just called the # back and got a message saying they were calling concerning a publication that we currently receive or are eligible to receive.  The recording says to leave your name & all #s you'd like them NOT to call and that the #s will be removed within 24 hours.

Received call from this number at 10am cst. I ignore all these type of calls.if it continues, I will take further action of reporting to police

Receive calls all day long from this number 314-627-5588. Company is a Magazine Subcription Company that sends free subscriptions. Sometimes someone is on the other end sometimes not. I tell the person my manager is not interested in receiving free subscriptions and they hang up, but call back the next day. I did call them back and received a recording and I asked to have my number removed, but I don't know that they will remove it. Let's see if they call back tomorrow.

They called again, asking for a specific person in my office, refusing to leave a message or say what the call was regarding.  When I told her that I had requested twice to be removed from their call list, she acted confused, and asked if I was sure that I had the correct company, which she said was "The Everything Channel."  I told her that I had never heard that company name, but that I definately recognized the phone number because I had received several calls, and called back twice to make the DNC request.  Then she hung up on me.  Surprise, surprise!
I will continue to keep you all updated on my progress with this number.

Called, I answered, no answer on the other end

they just called again, asking for a person in my office and I forwarded it before I recognized the number.  then I called back and left another message to remove all of our company's numbers from their call list.  I will continue to report progress made.

called # back - recording says it's a subscription co calling about my elligability - left a message asking to stop calling.  i will report back if it works or not.

Have you reported these illegal calls to DONOTCALL.gov?  

If not - why do you expect the FTC to do anything about it.

There is a FILE A COMPLAINT button on the Donotcall.gov website - because it is YOUR responsibility to report these illegal calls.    

The DO NOT CALLS laws do work - as long as EVERYONE receiving these ILLEGAL calls file the complaints.  

1 complaint is NOT ENOUGH - there has to be hundreds of complaint from hundreds of people.


So instead of complaining it is not working  - YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT WORK - FILE THOSE COMPLAINTS!

I get this call at least once a day at my work.  I just don't answer it as I recognize the number.  Is it a computer generated call or what?

Received call approx 12:15 today, June 5. Didn't answer. Caller ID = Call Center.

I'm on the do not call list and have an unlisted number.
I've already called my phone provider twice already about unwanted calls.

This number called my business (land line) today at 2:45pm EST. The caller ID said Contact Center. No one replied when I answered.

Magazine Subscription Renewal Call from 314-627-5588

Even after telling them to remove my number from any and all lists, I still receive calls daily,
usually around 10AM EDT.

I've started the process of taking this company down.  Today, as the Verison representative suggested, I filed a police report.  The police report was filed, but the officer said that they cannot track this number.  The Verison rep also said that he could not look up the number.  But it's not over yet.  If everyone of you would call the police and make a complaint, this would be a great help and we can take this company down.  What they are doing isn't right.  So far, the McDounough County Sheriff has the complaint filed.  When you add a new complaint, please copy the McDonough County Sheriff onto your reply and add your police department that you made your complaint to.  With one step at a time we can rid our country of these antagonizers.

I have just called Verison's business office about this companies harassing phone calls.  They did a reverse look-up and were unable to find the name of the company which shows up as the ContactCenter - Contact Center, because the Contact Center is unlisted.  Verison's representative told me to call the local police and file a complaint with them.  So I called the Sheriff's department and spoke to them.  They are sending the Sheriff here to file a criminal complaint.  

Everyone of you should also call the sheriff and file a criminal complaint too. I'm a disabled vet and have a lot of difficulty functioning properly.  This company is causing me stress.  I work on my website all night and that is my life just like anyone else who works at night.  People who work at night have the right to sleep and not have harassing phone calls.  After receiving these calls, they leave me with stress because no one ever answers when I pick up the phone.  I have big bags under my eyes because I have now gone three days without proper sleep.  This lack of sleep affects my ability to do my work and also affects my personal relationships with others because it causes me to not to be able to think quickly and leaves me a bit irritable.  

Again, I'm a disabled vet and suffer from internal injuries and PTSD.  PTSD is REAL.  I strongly urge everyone to do the same as I am doing by calling the police and filing criminal complaints against these companies.  Once we get a criminal prosecution going, then we need to start a Civil Suit against the people harassing our families.  There is no excuse for their actions.

Same thing, my first experience with this one was today.   Reverse lookup  through 411.com showes this as a landline in St. Louis, MO with no further free information (for 1.99, 411 will text you with any more info it has)

This website is really helpful, it quickly helped identify this as a source of irritation.

These people call me all of the time too.  The National No call list stopped all kinds of people from calling me, but there are some inconsiderate companies that need to find some consideration.  I work all night and they start calling me in the morning.  It's time to do something about this.  All of us should get together and hire a lawyer to burn these companies really bad.  A class action lawsuit will be a wake up call for them and then they can put their response on this site.  .  I am too sending complaints to the national call center.  Also, call your phone company and file a complaint.  I will do that tomorrow.  We need to find out where they are, somewhere in the St. Louis area, so their chamber of commerce should also receive a letter from everyone who receives these harassing phone calls.  One step at a time, we can stamp out these National Terrorist.  When I took my military oath, it said to fight all enemies, both foreign and domestic, this company is a domestic enemy, and we need to put them out of business, completely.  C. Today is the first day in a month that someone was actually on the other end when I answered this number.  Being a place of business, it's very frustrating to get calls all day long and be hung up on!  I had two in a row today, and I told both of them to get us off their call list.  It's a company selling magazines, several different ones though.  I was actually able to call the number back today and got a new recording which says to leave your name and number to have the number removed from their call list.

answered the phone and no one was there.....

Every day around lunchtime I get a phone call from this number.  Nobody on the other end.  Never leaves a message.  When you call back, a recording says the number is unavailable.
