I'm not sure why they are trying to call or who but I'm kind of confused cause they have been calling not only my regular number but my pinger app number that I use when I'm at my country home.  And when I call back I'm automatically placed on hold without it even ringing.

The first guy said they are American magazine. They want to give me $100 gift card and let me try 5 magazines for $3.79 per week. The second guy asked me for my credit card information. I didn't give him.
(Loud noise in the background and bad reception. They couldn't hear what I said.)

I recieved a call from this number on my cell phone and he ask for my wife by her first name and while I was taking the phone to my wife he just hung up.  He stated he was from the Postal Service, which was weird because my wife and I had been talking about the Postal Service for the last 10 minutes.  When I called back it went straight to hold and music was playing.  I hung up after 15 minutes.

You can block it as long as there is a number. You have to add the number to your contacts & from there you should have a block # icon/button to click on unless you have a really old phone but any smart phone should be able to handle blocking. Now if they could just figure out how to block "UNKNOWN" callers with no number that would be sweet!

oh. She kept asking about our "connection" it's probably VOIP, and probably in another country. That's most likely why they kept hanging up on the people above commenting. Their connection sucks.

They just called. I signed up on a website - i thought it was legitimate, and at the last second i realized what it was and closed the window (dumb mistake, I know).
A lady called from a large call center (you could here them in the background). Said she was from some publisher's house. Wanted to give me free gift cards ($250 value) and send me magazines. FOR only $3.79 a week.
Most likely some scam in which they take 3.79, then charge your account 100.00 for some "maintenance" reason that you "agreed" to.

I just got a call I didn't pick it up and have blocked it too also on the DNC registry for a while and now all of a sudden I am getting all these calls.

Same as everybody else. when i picked up, they hung up quickly.

I got a call from this number and have been getting several other random calls. I haven't answered and don't plan to since they aren't leaving voice mails.

This number repetedly calls my new cell number. I refuse to answer it and they never leave a message. I have not given this number out to anyone, and it is a prepaid phone with no contract so I dont know who it is calling me. I wish it could be blocked.

Caller ID said "Trane Company."  This is a new one.  As usual a hang up.
