Caller Id came up as Penn Yan NY but didnt leave a message.

I have received calls daily for the past week.  They always hang up.  I don't answer the phone!!

What the heck this people.Call every day. BOTHER ME.

This number has called about 35 times in the past three weeks. The caller never leaves a message or responds.

I hear ya. sure makes "picking your battles" a whole lot easier, ya? cool. God Rules.

so, answer the phone, say hello, when you hear a voice, say "hang on", put the phone down and walk away. they will never call you again. good luck! I hate politics.

Your land line provider has nothing to do with call blocking.  I bought a 5 phone, w/answering machine that included a 30# blocking feature.  It's great.  So great, I wish it had more numbers.  When other numbers come through, I delete the old numbers.  I hope whoever it is, realize they can't get through using that number,  and quit.  That gives me the chance to delete the number, thus adding on another irritating call to block.  I got mine at BJ's  You can get them anywhere.  Just make sure there is a call block feature in it!  Good luck.  You get ONE ring the system verifies the call, and that's it.  It's gone!!!!!
