Obama's Health and Human Services telemarketer. Uses your taxes to pay their business expenses and profits. They are calling you to try to sell you government insurance.  They also take your personal information to sell to pond scum for  ID THEFT / MEDICARE FRAUD.  Another federal goldmine of information and free money.

THIS TIME THEY USED "MEMBER SERVICES" ON CALLER ID.  I USUALLY DONT ANSWER CALLS I CANT IDENTIFY, BUT THESE B....TARDS HAVE CALLED SO MANY TIMES USING DIFFERENT CALLER ID NUMBERS.  THIS TIME THEY HAVE A PRE-RECORDED MESSAGE FROM DOCTOR SO AND SO HAWKING SOME LIFE ALERT SYSTEM.  DO NOT PICK UP YOUR PHONE!!  THEY ARE SO SNEAKY...I HAVE BLOCKED OTHER PHONE NUMBERS FROM THEM, BUT THEY FIND A WAY AROUND IT.

8/29 13:39 And yet another unwanted call today.  These member services calls are so blasted annoying and when you block one # they switch to another in a never ending steam.  Mine only say member services, but haven't left message so screw them.

Member services...well I can tell you this, I do not answer any of these calls and never have. Still they call. The last week I have gotten 8 of these calls ALL with the same ID but all with different numbers. Now I am not a fanatic about telemarketers but these guys are full of sh*t. When they first started they used 'first alert' as their ID. They obviously got in trouble for that as there is a legitimate company that has that name. Somebody FCC? did SOMETHING but not enough. I don't answer them but I do have to get on the chair and wheel myself to look at the ID. I don't think we should have to take our phones off the hook or turn off ringers at certain times of the day to avoid this. That's a form of harassment and should not be allowed. So many departments have been under funded thanks to repugncants in congress. This particular thing is small, but it shows just how these cuts are now effecting the common person. Same with aircraft falling out of the sky lately.

I wouldn't be bothered if there were just "nuisance calls" as mentioned above.  Unfortunately it is a lot more serious than that.  These are criminals who troll the phone lines looking for innocent victims to scam.   That is why they need to be shut down.

8/28/13 - I now have 11 pages of telemarketer calls.  I don't answer them.  I  can't block them due to my phone service, Verizon, being uncooperative when it comes to cell phones.  I'm on the DNC list, which does no good.  I had police working on it (they said).  They were unable to find out anything.  They probably would have found out who was calling if it had been a criminal matter.  I leave my phone off the hook until mid morning because these creeps call so early. It is so discouraging to be a prisoner of these various telemarketers.

We just got a phone call from this number. We don't answer phone calls from numbers we don't recognize and they didn't leave a message. The way I see it, if they can't leave a message it obviously must not be that important. Just another stupid nuisance call to report!!

Those posters who say that the only way to stop this madness is to NEVER answer an unknown caller, are absolutely correct.  Once you pick up, they know they have a live one.  They never give up, and there seems to be no way to stop them.  So ignore, block and report.

We got a call from this number today at 10:27 am and didn't answer. The caller ID was "member services". The voice mail message left was a recording about a free medical alert system. When I called back I heard this recording: "Hello, and than you for calling. If you'd like to be placed on a do not call list for the number that called you, please press 1 now."

Phone screen displayed CLAYTON NY and this number. I didn't answer and that number is now blocked.

8:13 in the morning.....Thank goodness for caller ID but they are relentless....morning ...all day..I wonder just how much business they get from being annoying....

All tele-marketers and these robo calling numbers and SCAM callers must be stopped.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry I even block these numbers but they keep calling.  There is no company name to call or even report.

I hate them.

These are the same a***s that called and called and called last year.  I learned from the internet they are a firm, and I use the term loosely, that is selling "Help, HElp, I can't get up" machines.  It doesn't do any good to block them since they use a different, no good, telephone number every time they call.  My caller ID just said "Clayton, NY".  Great caller ID.  We don't know anyone in Clayton so not for us.  They did call at 8:15 this morning, earlier than usual. They call here every 2 weeks.  Next timeI will try and leave our fax machine on so the computer will think it doesn't do any good to call this number, no one will answer.  That probably won't work either.

8/23 11:08  Another "member services" call.  Really can't block all, but with caller ID can avoid.  Unless I am certain who is calling, I simply don't answer anymore.  What member and what services?  It seems obvious that as long some people continue to answer, they will continue to call.

I tried to call back . A recorded message says " Hello, if your not interest in our call, please press 1.". It says : allow us 48 hours to remove you phone number. They continue to call. Mamy people filed complaints with www.800notes.com

I just learned from a Verizon rep. that anytime you dial an 800 or other toll free number, your phone number is revealed to the corporation or person who "owns" the 800 or toll free number that you call. The reason for this is that they are paying for the phone call, and for some reason that I don't yet know, that makes them entitled to know your number. I did not know this. So much for using toll free numbers. And I thought robo-callers on computers was our biggest problem.

Have you ever heard of "robo-calling?" It's a computer dialing--not a person. Sorry to burst your bubble.

The caller ID was Member Services and they are blocked. It looks of a Telemarketer calling non Members offering their Services to any sucker who will take them.

No Idea who may be behind it.  I have NEVER answered a call I don't recognize...can't be bothered stooping down to their level.  Just got in and saw the # on my caller ID, came here to see what they were up to and blocked them......that will be the end of them in my life.
These half witted morons who continue to answer these calls just don't get it .....they are the very people who keep these scam artists in business.
