Here's what I did:
I added their number to my contact, naming it "DON'T PICK UP", then change their ringtone to silent. So whenever I get a call, I won't hear it. After a few weeks, they literally gave up because I never answer them.

p.s. also turn off vibration for their ringtone.

the IT chat person took my info Tuesday and said the calls would stop but they haven't.  I'm sitting in a testimony seat all week at a federal regulatory meeting, I need the phone on for work reasons and the damned college won't stop calling!

They call me almost EVERY day and its SO ANNOYING! They NEVER leave a voice mail

Answer the call and stay on the line OR call back (like Amanda said) press one or 2 and speak to someone and say "remove my # from the list". You can also call the local school and asked to be removed. Be nice, you did ask for info and the people on the other end of the phone are just doing their jobs. They won't leave you a voice mail.

They call all day long, from 8am-7pm. it's getting pretty annoying.

It's Everest College.

I never applied for college, so I am not sure how they got my number.

It's Everest Institute.  I was told they were calling localy but the # is a Colorado #-not local for me.  

When I requested my # be taken off the list I was (only then) informed the call was being recorded.  I advised them "good, then there is no question that I do not want these calls"

I have to assume it may initiated via my sons request for College info & he provided my number.

i called the number back (spoke to Aaron) and asked them to remove it from thier call list, and they said they would - so we will see.  The stated that they got my # from an Edwin Lopez that requested info online and must have given my # in error.

This number is for Everest College. I called them back, they  were  very professional and and said my number would be removed from their call list within 24 to 48 hours.

yeah i asked for info but also trap you by not letting you just request info eithger snail mail or email. they require you to input a phone number and if I would have known they'd spam the s*** out of my number I sure as hell wouldn't have asked for a damn thing. You must work in PR!

Yes, this is what I've done. I spoke to someone and they said they put me on the Do-not-call list.

I started receiving calls from this phone number ever since I requested information from the Everest Institute website, I also looked up some other college websites. I thought the calls were coming from some telemarketer because someone at Everest actually called me from a local number and sent me a text as well. The calls started on a Sunday, of all days, and have continued every day of the week about 10 times a day. The latest call I received was at 8:30PM which I find very strange for a "college" to be calling at this hour. Like everyone else, I didn't answer any of the phone calls and they never left any messages either. Thank goodness I'm not the only one who has had this problem so I have done what others have suggested and called them back and someone answered nice as can be and said they were from Everest. I requested to be taken off their list and they asked for my number and said my number has been entered to not receive any more calls. We'll see if this really happens.

Got a call. I did not answer, and they left no voice message.

Called this number and someone answered in a minute or so. I told them to remove my number and they said they would. I also told them that they had an enormous PR problem and told them to search their phone numbers on line. I told them that hundreds and hundreds of people were trashing their college online. We'll see if they do anything about this.

...IF this happens now, just think what they'd do if you missed a payment! EVEREST INSTITUTE would probubly Call 24/7, 9-1-1, APD, Homeland Security, close your bank account (not just freeze it) and hire the Mexican Army to storm your home.(JUST FOR A NIGHT-SCHOOL QUERY of the unemployed?)

Tah-Dah! I have some answers for you!!! If you believe OBAMA and are JOB-SEARCHING, then you registered with "CAREERBUILDER.COM"!  "CAREERBUILDER.COM", innocently sent me a job offer, that is NOT an offer of employment but an advertisement for EVEREST INSTITUTE, then traced number back and >BAMM< Got em! (BAD MoJo, Everest! Can't you see people are broke already?)

this number kept on calling me every after 5 or 10 minutes in 24/7.. it is so annoying that it pisses me off! so, i decided to call back the number and told them to remove my number. and i am not interested anymore on their program. hopefully i will not receive calls from Everest Institute!

These people call me non stop... I have never given these people my number.. I answered the other day & asked them to stop calling. Once they stopped Remington College started calling. Once i asked them to stop calling Everest started up again... I dont know how to get them to stop calling but they AT LEAST 5 or 6 times a day, its becoming a nuisense.

I went onto Google and typed in 720 area code and found out that this is a Colorado area code. I have been getting nonstop calls from them but never knew that it was Everest College. I did not pickup because I did not recognize the number and just let it go to voicemail. No message was left, so I thought that it was a wrong number. But the next day they kept calling 5-6 times a day and no message. Kind of annoying.

They call me allll the time. so somebody said to call and get my number off the calling list. instead they tried connecting me to someone so they could "further understand my college needs" or something. so i hung up

I get literally, about 20 or more calls from these people a day. It's about every hour, on the hour.
It's absolutely ridiculous.
How is harassment going to make me want to go to your school? Really?

They have been calling me several times a day for the past few months, it's extremely annoying, and I'll even pick up and hang directly up and you think they would get the hint eventually, but, they don't.  I tried to have my # removed but it acts like it's ringing to another dept then hangs up.

Hi i got also a call from this number and it was everest institute for school just call this number and press 2 and someone will assist you and tell them that remove your phone number on their system and they will listen! and tell them that you are not interested! and after that they will not give a call at all
