had the same call as well at my job. he said his name was james brown....i laughed and recorded the message so i could give it to my attorney and his investagor to track this person down . we r now in the process of getting back at him for harrassment and fraud. this person has a very heavy accent as well........if this person should call u again plz let him know that he is being recorded for ur attorney  and their investgators too.

I received a phone call yesterday and a few times before saying that I had an criminal investigation against my SSN and then before he ended the call, said that I my SSN was under federal investigation.  So I called the number back and man did I get him upset.  I work for a Sheriff's Department and when I told him that I did not have any outstanding loans other my car loans, he got really upset and started threatening to have me arrested also.  He said that I had an unpaid loan with cashadvanceUSA back in October 2010 for $300 and it had been deposited into my account and it was unpaid. I told him, let me guess you want me to send you this money so they don't come and arrest me and he of course said yes.  I laughed so hard at him.   He said his name was Robert Lee with a very thick foreign accent.  When I told him to go ahead and have the police come and get me, he got even more upset.  Told me if that is how I wanted it, then he would send them.  The really scary part is that he rattled off my banking routing number, account number, where I was working at that time, my address and my SSN.  So I am going to call the NY police department to let them know of this and also anyone out there that has been getting similar calls, contact all three of the credit bureaus so they know your SSN has been compromised.  His call back number was 315-538-9901.

I had the same call from a agent accoridng to him saying that it wa a legal matter from the united federal government. I dont have any major debts so i think this is wrong.

I had them call me saying that I owe $3,697 for a online loan from cashnet.com but could settle out of court if I paid 532.00. Then when asked for information such as where te loan was deposited into they wouldn't tell me where. Would not send me any documentation till I paid this amount. The caller identified himself as jance brown with a strong asain accent. When I refused to pay and sai I had attorney that will call him back he said I'll see you in court. Then 10 minutes later I recieved a all from a Jack brown stating he was also from investagation unit of us federal bank. When I told him I refuse o pay and they can speak with my lawyer. He stated he was going To have cops pick me up then an ended phone call. Thru all this the line kept clicking sad thin I he had my address cell phone number SSN.

Received 3 calls from someone claiming to be Officer Scott Young (although had a strong asian accent) asking for my son.

I received the same phone call stating he was from the Criminal Investigation office in New York. He threatening arrest at my place of employment if i did not pay them. They even They stated that i was in default of my loan to a US Federal Bank-which I have no loan with.   Scary thing is they have my social security number and my home address. I'm going to report them as well.

Received a call from this number from a "Peter Bell" stating he was an investigator from a law firm, then he said he was representing the legal department for the United Federal Government and that he was calling in regards to a very important legal matter.  He had a foreign voice and the line kept clicking.

Person claimed to be Officer Robinson from the New York City Police Department and needed to talk to me about an urgent legal matter. 315 is not the area code for New York City. I reported to the consumer affairs division of the New York City PD.

I GOT THE SAME CALL FROM A SO CALL JACK ALSTON AND I CAUGHT HIS LIE WHEN HE SAID THE LOAN COMPANY GAVE ME 200 OR 250 DOLLARS BUT I OWE 596 DOLLARS AND HE CALIMS THAT HE WORKS FOR A FEDERAL GOVERMENT AGENTCIE AND THE MORE QUESTIONS I ASKED THE MORE ATTITUDE I GOT SO I TOLD HIM TO SEND  THE COPS AND IN RETURN I FILLED AN INVESTIGATION CASE ON THEM BUT WHEN I CALLED ALL MY PEOPLES THEY SAID THEY DONT KNOW THEM AND WHEN I CALL THE POLICE THEY TOLD ME IF I DONT HAVE PAPER WORK FOR AN ARREST THEN I CANT BE ARRESTED SO YES THEY ARE A FRUD

I received a call from the same ppl first it was from a Jack Austin he left  a message stating  a matter just came across his desk in regards to me harrassing someone his accent was weird he also stated that if I didnt call back he was going to have the cops come to my home and arrest me...Then today a Sean Robinson same accent called my job and left a message on an employees phone when I called back and asked what this was in regard to got nothing but attitude I said I am unable to understand what you are saying please send a certified letter he stated nothing will be sent ony the cops. I am contemplating filing a report but have nothing but this unlisted number...Any suggestions???

When you call the number back, the same voice answers and simply says   "Front Desk".

got a phone call from jack austin and sean robinson about a payday loan that was not repaid. I asked questions and they just had attitudes.

Called my ex husband threatening to arrest me, some ethnic guy saying he was the loan office Mike Scott answered the phone, the phone call was from a Sean Robinson or Sean Robertson. Stated I had many felonies. My fiance called informing them they were illegally giving out information (they gave my ex husband my SS# over the phone) and said he was with the LSPD, I tried calling back and the phone line doesn't work now.
