A man with heavy accent called my office number and asked for me, I answered phone and no one there, hung up and still line open.  I then called the number and a heavily accented man asked if this was the number he'd called I said yes and he hung up.  How do you stop these calls? Especially to your work phone.???

Receiving calls on my cell and at work from Brad about needing to call him back, that I need an attorney, don't ignore this call, has a heavy Indian accent then says "God Bless"..will not call this jerk back. Calling Verizon and New York State Attorney General's office. He's calling me at a New York State operated facility.

Got the same kinda call. Guy very weird. How do I report?

THESE GUYS ARE SCAM AND F*** HEADS.I WOULD TO LOVE TO KICK THE S*** OUT OF THEM.

Received two calls over the weekend from this number at our work. He said "this message is for ---- ----" -using a real staff member's name. First time his name was "Brad" second time, slightly different voice and his name was "Uh, Brian Taylor." At the end it was "If you or your attorney don't return this call, or I don't hear from you... what...oop." and he pushed a few buttons and hung up. I think he forgot his script. Ignore it and move on.

Said his name was robert and he was  from India. Telling me  that this was a legal matter, making you think he was with the law. Why can't these people be stop. It is ridicoulous for americans to deal with.

Received message stating to call immediately bfore legal proscution. Sam and cannot even speak English.

Just got a call Brad" this morning stated I have 3 criminal charges against me and needed to talk to him immediately when I asked what the charges were for they would not or could not tell me. They have all so been calling my employer. What can you do to stop them from calling does any one know.  HELP  

The caller leaves a message stating that I, or my legal representation calls them, because the issue is time sensitive. They state that I will be brought up on charges if I don't.

First of all, if they were a legitimate company, they are violating the FDCPA act as they called at 7:21 am PST. Legally, they can only contact you between 8 am - 9 pm local time.  Second of all, a company cannot state that you will be brought up on criminal charges for a civil matter.

Just received the following voicemail, middle eastern accent, from 'Brad': "The very second you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney off records to return the call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is Brad and the hotline to my division is 3153701349. I repeat 3153701349. Don't disregard this message. Return the call."

Who calls anyone without addressing the person they're trying to get a hold of? Besides the fact I've had some LoanMax office continually calling me telling me my loan is ready, for which I never applied for or have outstanding...

Received call from this # stating his name was eric brown (very heavy indian accent) they are an attorney office and that i have 3 felonies against my ss#.... I asked that they verify my ss # and they have my correct  ss #... When asked what the charges are in regards to so that i may tell my attornety about them,Eric refussed to answer and when i got angry he hung up on me, i continued to call back and keep asking for his supervisor and each time was hung up on.

I keep receiving calls at my place of employment.  Leaves a message saying it is very important for my attorney to return his call.  It is a time sensitive matter.  His name is "Brad" and this is the number to his division.  315-370-1349.  Brad has called my work everyday now for the passed week.

My wife owed some money to some quick cash loan places and fell behind. She got a call from this # and spoke to Eddie Brown who told her they would forgive the amount she owed if she would send them $780. If she didn't pay today she would be arrested tomorrow and spend 33 months in jail.
She was scared and paid the $780 and when she got the confirmation # he told her she owed Quick Cash Net $1900 and would go to jail if she didn't pay it today.

I received a call today his name was Jason Connors he said I was going to court  and to get my attorney and he wanted me to verify the last four of my social security number I refused and asked him what this was about he would not tell me and he got nasty with me. what is disturbing he knew my name phone number. he said he worked for a law firm out of auburn new York I called the number back until somebody that spoke English enough to where  I could understand him he said criminal justice legal law firm Google this and  it don't exist and this is a scam  the phone number that they used to call me 1 315 370 1349 they have a very heavy Arabian accent report them to your local police department

I received 2 calls at work regarding this scam.  Again, like in previous posts, his name is Brad and he insists on talking with my husband and it is a legal matter, do not ignore the call and ends with God Bless.  It takes a lot of nerve for people to say that, when they are actually calling to scam you.  It really put me at ease to read all these posts from people stating the same thing and confirming that it is indeed a scam.  Thank you!

This guy that calls himself Brad has called my house and my work. I am a legal assistant and what he is doing is just wrong. He left a message on the voice mail at work and I am not happy about that. Saying criminal charges and all that are going to be pressed on me for some loan that was not taken out.

received several calls from 315-370-1349 claiming to be a Jay Smith with Mark Robinson Attorney office. Claimed that I have legal charges being brought against me. When I asked for information he became very rude and I told him I would have my attorney contact him he got even more aggressive towards me. Call came from Auburn NY and I have contacted the local PD in Auburn. This is beyond out of control and the scary part is he had my social. This is a total scam and the guy is a total jerk. When I told him I was reporting him he said go ahead and when I told him that my fiance is a sheriff he got even more rude. Be careful with this!!!!!

Now they are either getting Indians with proper pronounciation or English accents.. Thanks to postings and what I have been through this crap for awhile, just deleted all 4 voice mails they left me

Heavily accented man says I'm being named in a Criminal Action and wants the name of my attorney so he can send the paperwork.  I ask him what are the charges?  and he says he can't tell me and won't send me paperwork, that I'll be visited by the Legal Authorities in the morning.

I got the same call, he said I had committed check fraud against Advance America. This individual with a thick Indian accent said that the states attorney general was preparing to file charges against me tomorrow. First thing people should know, is that the attorney general doesn't warn people that they're going to arrest you! They just do it! I know I had payed Advance America. I said I had to go. I was late getting my son to school. This was extremely upsetting. I told them I would call Advance America, and that I would call them back. I just tried calling them back and they identified themselves as an official government office. I asked them for their physical address, and they hung up on me.

Omg......I never join n on any post or blogs, but this one is sad as hell same Brad n Kevin said I owe $300 n wanted me to purchase a green dot money pack for $750....... I'm awaiting to be arrested at the moment. Lol. Plesse BEWARE this is s SCAM!!!!!!!!

"Brad" will not stop calling my office phone. Says the exact same lines as previous posts have stated. Has anyone had any luck getting him to leave you alone?

I keep getting a call and he states his name Eddy from this law office. And also called my work saying he was going to file court fillings the next day told me to pay 1095. and that i would be arrested at work and spend 11 months in jail. I would have felonies and nothing made sense and what is worse these peopl have no compassion or a heart my mom just got diagnosed with cancer and i told him i had all this going on and dealing with my mothers condition. All he did was threaten me and LIE.

3rd call this week - Eddie Brown threatening criminal charges filed against me.  I have consulted an attorney, filed a report with the Police and FBI.

I'm in the middle of that right now. telling me they're pulling charges on me first thing in the morning for a payday loan that I did not pay back. I thought my bank took care of this Staff. but they are telling me I owe nine hundred dollars for a $300 loan. he had an Indian accent. call his self Kevin Miller.
