No one else reading this page can ''have them stop calling'' on your behalf. Revoking a debt collector's total permission to call you anywhere is YOUR job. Meanwhile, anyone at your PoE can halt the calls for you at that one workplace.

R.J. Capital, cited in other comments, appears to be a junk debt buyer with a US address, therefore it can accept mailed notices demanding debt validation and cease-communication, not to mention a civil summons for really bad behavior.

Too bad!! Is this blog site cutting into your criminal operation? Why don't you contact the FTC or the attorney general and complain that the profits from your illegal operation are being negatively affected by the internet?

This company has called me twice and then the woman threatened me saying that I would lose in court. The first time Lisa called and left a message about income tax. The second time the report was about a bad check. I am sick of this company.

I also received calls from this company about a payday loan that I had taken out with Western Sky. The loan had been paid in full, yet they were trying to take money out of my account after the fact. The total for the loan with fee's and interest was $1,200.00. Lisa, from this company that is trying to collect the alleged debt, said the balance is still $1,200. They called me at work saying there is a legal matter pending and they were going to take me to court. After a long discussion and me defending myself, she became rude and started raising the tone of her voice. I then told her she didn't need to get that tone with me and she hung up on me. They are a scam. Do not give in!

This woman keeps calling asking for someone not living here.  I told her this last time that she needs to stop, she called me a few choice words and told me she would be calling everyday !!! Seriously !!!  Who the heck are these people and how do they get my number, what is wrong with the national do no call listing that this happens time and time again.

1 thing....if you loaned money out in the illegal state your not taking anybody to court.the judge will fine you thousands of dollars for trying to collect in a illegal state IDIOT..

This phone # called me looking for another party that had this phone # years ago, I have had this phone # for almost 13  years and tried to explain it to the lady but when I told her that I was NOT Melissa McAndrew she slammed the phone down in my ear.  So I tried to call back to ask her to please just remove my home phone # from her system and as soon as I started talking she slammed the phone down in my ear again.

Actually, pay day loans are illegal in most states and you have no basis to attempt to collect these loans. You are nothing more than a collection agency who has purchased the rights to collect. True, if people take out loans, they should pay them back. However, you as a collection company should stop harassing people, follow the guidelines or get stuck not being able to accomplish a thing. You do not have a legal basis to threaten to sue or call a person's place of employment. Your company isn't even registered to do business in most states and does not have a legal basis to sue a person.

PEOPLE..you do realize that these low lifes are not posting on here,i bet RJA fired them because of there stupidty a lot of info was posted on here and it is hurting there business........

Received a phone call regarding my son.  state he had taken a pay day loan for 750.00 but 350.00 could be paid or else my payroll would be contacted, first it wasn't my bill so they could not deduct anything from me, but she was threatening things against my son, so i paid first 250.00 at the end of may and the remaining $100.00 to be paid on june 8th.  they went into my account and took out $200.00.  that money was reserved for my light bill.  i call and only got an answering service.  need help.

people go to BBB.gov type in robert james assoc.and you will get a BIG F RATING the lowest rating you can get from the BBB..so if rja has a F rating with the BBB i would be very careful about dealing with these low lifes because they will violate the laws of the fdcpa and most of the lies will be that your getting arrested.

now go to google or ask.com and type in what states are illegal for a pdl and you will get a list of 12-15 states so that means they do not have a license to loan money and that is a violation of the fdcpa law and they will not take you to court because all you have to say to the judge YOUR HONOR I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THIS PDL HAS NO LICENSE TO LOAN MONEY IN MY STATE.the judge will fine them thousands of dollars.

My family is getting calls asking for me from this so called Edward Scott & Attorney... The number is 315-410-2076 and the same scenario, asking for my info and when my family offers to take a message instead they just state that they will subpoena them instead and hang up... I called this evening and left them a message with my number... As a criminal justice grad I cannot wait to see what these criminals are trying to pull...

I received a call from "Norm" from RJA saying I owe them money and there is a Process Server getting ready to come to my work and "serve" me.  I was told if I pay what they want they will cancel the order for the Process Server and mark my account paid in full.  Well NORM  I am not falling for it.  
Today I got a call from the "Process Server" who asked me if I was going to pay.  I said ask Norm, I am not discussing anything with you and he said hold please, then convenienlty had me on the phone with Norm and Norm said to not serve me today, lets wait to see if I pay.  LOL  Riiigghhttt, like I'm gonna pay RJA who doesn't even own my account and when I googled the Process Server they said they were calling from the guy had no idea what I was talking about, he doesn't even do Collection Serving, only criminal.  So nice try Norm and your counter part at RJA, you didn't get me.

im going to be honest. i spoke with this lisa and she worked out a incredable deal for me. they already sent me a letter for my debt. that i know i owe. because i can admit to my bills. she gave me 65 on a dollar. unbelievable and they are updating my debt as paid in full. it sounds like you guys are just in denial. you should try.

I had a message on my answering machine with reference to someone who doens't live there but saying they need a statement or they would be contacting my payroll dept.  The person calling said her name was Lisa and the company name was Robert James and Associates.  There was no reason for them to call my number.

I received a call today from Edward Scott saying the same things mentioned before me. I called the number back and it goes directly to his voicemail. I left a message and still have not received a call back. I can't even report them to the BBB because the numbe doesn't pull up the business on the BBB website and I don't have any information about the company other than the caller's name and the phone #.

FYI...I reported this company to the BBB. The company said they will remove my # and mark my file "paid in full". Which tells you right there that this is a scam. I never owed them any money. Robert James and Assoc. is a scam. Do not give them any info or money!
