I find it very interesting to read all this misinformation. I am a college educated licensed professional who has worked at this company in the evening to make some extra money. I worked 12 hours days total. Many of my co-workers do the same. We are legitimate and simply doing as we are told...gathering information for the purpose of market research. We ask if you are interested, if not, your name and number are dropped. There are so many mean, rude people but on the other end of the spectrum, there are many nice people who agree to give us the information we are seeking. I would never take a job as a telemarketer, because I don't like the calls either, but if someone wants my 2 cents, I will give it to them! All you have to do is politely say you are not interested. I respect the people who do that. I have no respect for the people who are rude, hang up or make up some bogus excuse. I usually figure you are not educated, have no etiquette and just a mean person.

I would love for them to come by in person.  Let's just say it could get interesting if they refused to leave and persisted in constantly coming by like they call.  :)

Yeah, Sweetie, a lot of us SCREEN our calls.  Just because one has caller ID does not mean that does not mean that one wants strangers/scammers/self-serving jerks calling all the time.    I am paying for my cell phone ... THEY ARE NOT ---- so my cell is not for them to use to conduct their business (whether it's "shady" or not).  My cell phone for my OWN private use and so that my family & friends can get in touch with me.  I have a door bell too, but I don't want strangers ringing it constantly neither.    I also have a hot tub, but that doesn't mean that I want the entire neighborhood jumping in (gross) ... lol!

They called...no msg.   Looked up the phone no. HERE;  thank you...I kept the phone number and added it to my "DO NOT ANS.," so they can keep calling and I won't answer....Thanks again...as I am on the Texas and the Natinal Do Not Call List...That in itself only slows SOME of the callers.

I often look up numbers of phone calls I missed.  I am glad I missed this one because I know a few 315ers and might have answered it.  I have limited minutes.

I recently canceled my AT&T Uverse (internet) in favor of Time Warner Cable internet. So it's a possibility they are attempting to ask me about it... Who knows? Who cares? iPhone = BLOCKED.

I have downloaded call blocker on my phone, it blocks the number and has the option to add to  black list if you don't recognize the caller, works great and no annoying calls, I'd say problem solved, and it is free on Google Play Store.

Got a call from this number today at work.  "Ed" wanted to talk to the person handling payroll.  I told him I don't do payroll.  Ed then asked if I have time for a short survey.  I was getting pretty annoyed at this point.  I asked him if he can mail us something, and Ed said it MUST be done over the phone.  At this point I hung up on him.

I recently cancelled my AT&T as well. Probably why they were calling.

This household received two calls from this number, two days ago and one week ago.  In the second call, I requested to the caller that her Syracuse survey company remove my phone number from its calling list; otherwise, I informed the company that on its next call, I will report this matter to the FTC.  For extra protection, I blocked the number.

Called this pm, unplugged the phone. Don t answer phone when I do not recognize the number. So irritating! Telemarketer I'm sure. Also wrote a complaint to DNC as have signed up for it. Not sure what outcome will be.

somebody keeps calling me from this number and will not leave a message. They start around 6 PM and every hour on the hour until 9 PM, I refuse to answer since I do not number the number

Did you bother to read what he posted at all?  And while some survey's are exempt from the dnc itself, a telemarketer using a small survey then trying to sell something is *not* exempt..

Why are you replying to posts over 2 years old?  And I  read all the fine print on anything I sign, even when I bought a new car, don't recall that ever gave anyone the right to call and harass anyone repeatedly, let alone disobey the DNC after being requested not to call..  And those fine prints, don't fly in court too well cause its oldy moldy - the ol swapping folks phone company's with the fine print kinda proved that it doesn't sit well with the court system.  So just because I maybe bought a new car , doesn't mean you get to call and harass me selling car insurance or a radio station.

Not to mention that signing contracts isn't the only place telemarketers get numbers which I would consider a bit on the rare side since I've never seen that on a car sales contract, most are using dialers which in fact do not recognize the fact that someones number may be unlisted.

Besides replying to over a two year old post and being a nasty little north bound end of a south bound donkey-ote as well, hope your aware of the new laws: doesn't allow robo calling at all now even if you have a business relationship..

LMAO!!!!! If you were NOT AN A**, and actually listened, you would have found OUT how we got your "allegedly" unlisted cell number.  DO YOU EVER READ ALL THAT PAPERWORK that comes to you for a signature when you buy a car? How about the fine print when ever you purchase a service?????

I got the call too! Focus group in my city. $75 for sittin there for n hr n a 1/2. Not bad!? They're not askin for money(If they have anyone, plz lemme know)and, they're offering FREE food, so, I'm DEFINITELY going! lol..If they're there, $75 in my pocket, n a full belly! If they're NOT there..Oh well
