Guy (sounded like he was from India) pretending to be affiliated with Windows, and insisting that my computer had sent reports indicating that it needed repair.  I asked if his company was legally incorporated with Windows OS.  He kept trying to change the table where he was asking the questions and trying to tell me what to do about the supposed issue.  This phone call had SCAM written all over it.

Received a call from Chris Coleman of Criminal Justice Legal Office in regard to a complaint filed in reference to 3 allegations and that an arrest warrant would be issued On May 9 unless I called him back.  Upon returning the call I received an outgoing message that simply stated the party I was trying to reach was unavailable.  I immediately got online to reverse phone lookup the number and came up with several scam alerts.

that stupid indian muther f****er called me threatening me i wish to got they would pick up so i can give them my address and when he shows up i will invite him in and wooop the s*** out of him....what a piece of s***...I wish i would have answered.....

My daughter got the same message as Kathie. She did call back, 1st call would not go through, 2nd time a woman with an accent answered...my daughter hung up. Then we started looking the number up on the Internet. I talked to a friend at our local sheriff dept. He said just to ignore this...if they were going to  issue a warrant...they would be knocking on her door, not calling from Clinton NY.

i got the same guy-sounded indian-he left me a very nasty voicemail-i called him back he said i was being sued for divorce-yet said i had a warrant for my arrest-funny didnt know i was married-needless to say i cussed him out he called me a bi*** n hung up on me-

Got a call from 3155570806 this a.m.  was not able to answer the phone -- a heavily accented (perhaps Indian) male left a message that he was calling from Criminal Justice Legal Office & that a warrant for my arrest would be issued if I did not call him back.  Said his name was Chris something - couldn't make out last name.  I called back, gave him my name & while he was "looking up my file" I asked if he was an attorney.  After some hesitation he said that yes, he was.  I asked in what state in the US he was licensed, he paused and then said New York.  I told him I would need his atty ID no. & he hung up.  Tried several times to call again; phone rings once, then I get a busy signal.

Guy called and said his name was Chris Coleman and that if i didn't call him back a warrant would ne issued for my arrest. The other day my sister got a similar call which she reported. Guy had an indian accent

I receieved a call today saying they were from the fraud dept and a warrant would be issued for me if I did not call back- they have an accent too,.... I did not speak to them- they left a message.

the same thing happened to me his name peter and then steven the number was 219 232 0572 or 219 233 4400 and they try to sell me the same thing beware

I've gotten a couple of calls from 999-910-0224 w/ basically the same pile of garbage! I knew that the "license key" was the same on all windows computers (actually only 1 of many CLSIDs, this one is for     .zfsendtotarget), & that the event viewer is very useful, but is still just a log! I even asked them that if my computer(s) were all licensed to me (which they are not!) then what is my name? He was confuzzled! I searched for their website before I went to it & found out that it was not owned by Microsoft. It mentioned templatemo.com & according to whois (domaintools.com) it's based out of Queensland Australia & associated w/ privacyprotect.org. etc. etc.

Tell them to never call again or you'll report them to the kangaroos! Or something like that!

Yesterday, Oct. 4: This person claimed to be from Windows, responding to error or problem reports from my computer.  He claimed to be calling to help me remove spyware or malware that I had accidentally downloaded.  He wanted me to follow steps and perform some actions on my computer.  When I said my computer wasn't having problems, he assured me that it was!  Suspecting it might be a scam, I asked if I could have his number to call him back later.  He gave me the number 1-315-557-0806 and the name Zaik. I didn't call back.
Later that day, I received a second similar call from someone with a different name (but same accent and background call center noise, similar to the sounds and accents from call centers in India, also pretending to be affiliated with Windows, and insisting that my computer had sent reports indicating that it needed repair).  When I said my computer didn't have Windows because I use a Mac, the man seemed embarrassed and promptly hung up.

Peter called, and his supervisor Austin spent most of the time with me on the phone.  He talked to make me believe he was sent by Windows to inform me that my computer was in big danger of crashing because of errors he showed me, that were caused by malwares in my computer (false claims), which were supposedly caused by some hackers in eastern Canada.  He asked to remotely enter my computer - I gave permission after he gave me my license number ? thus proving he was from Windows - showed me that my firewall had got corrupted (false claim) and tried to convince me to buy a protection listed on http://www.windowssecure.net/subscription.html.  I refused and he offered to lower the price by 50% if I called back in the next 30 minutes. Both guys had strong English accents, similar to people from India.

This person is calling saying they are from Microsoft and there is trouble with my computer.  My caller id says "unknown caller".  If they were calling from Microsoft I think the number wouldn't be withheld.
