I got a call from this # today, when I called back it rang and rang but no answer or voicemail...

This number has come through several times but hangs up just before the answering machine picks up. Called back but no answer, no voice mail.

Just another phone scam starting up. When they called me today, I had an autodialer tell me it was from "Account Services", saying that I needed to talk to someone about my credit cards. Guess they didn't learn, after the multiple times I told idiots like this last year, that I don't have any credit cards to begin with.

If you're in the same area code, and you get this, hang up, and dial *57 (or, if you see it on caller ID, wait until they stop ringing, then pick up the phone and do *57). If the call actually came from your area, *57 will trace it back to the originating phone these morons are using - BUT, it's probably a fake number that they're using to show up on the Caller ID. In any case, though, it's a good idea to try, because someone local might actually be stupid enough to think that pulling this garbage is a good idea.
Don't bother calling the number back. You'll most likely just get nothing but ringing, or a recording saying that the voice mail is full. Probably not safe, anyway, since if it is the real number, people calling them back might be how they're getting fake numbers to use. And if it is a fake number, then you're just filling up the voice mail of the actual owner of it, and that person would be totally innocent.

Where ever they are from, after all the crap everyone had to go through last year from these idiots trying to scam us, they must be more than a few marbles short if they think anyone is going to give them anything now.

315-580-3263 is part of a phone scam. They have called my elderly mother telling her she has won 2.5 million and she need to except an express package. BUT 1st she must give them $250.

They have called repeatedly... I listened in while she was on the phone. Sometimes it's a male and sometimes a female calling. They always have a foreign accent (which is the first clue that the call is a scam).

We received a call today from a male with a foreign accent.  My wife could not understand him and she hung up on him.

Call from this number (315-580-3263) came in on a POLICE complaint line from a "southern" sounding male asking inappropriate questions of a police agency.  Have only received it once that I am aware of but would like calls like this to stop - especially when they are calling an emergency line.

Lisa LaManque Vennette thinks I stoled her cell phone..she honestly believes that after 32 yrs of friendship I would spend 500.00 on a plane ticket to steal her phone. this is going to be a very entertaining thing cause she is going to have to prove that I have her cell phone which....I do NOT!!!!!!!! whoever is behind the mess with this number sure knows how to stir up crap....my voice message on her in house phone ...it showed up with this number on the caller id...strange since I liv ein sacramento a 916 area code city.....

I just hope two things that Lisa LaManque Vennette sees these complaints and her husband Brent too and that whoever is behind this mess gets what they deserve

my friend Lisa LaManque vennette thinks I stoled her phone becuse she swears my voice was on a message on her in house phone line......on this number..it showed up on her caller id....this has caused my best friend of 32 yrs to dislike me........what a fing trip!!!!!

I am in the 315 calling area.

I have been getting this number on my caller ID the last few days - I didn't recognise it and didn't answer.  When the answering machine kicked in, lo and behold, it was my mum calling from Ireland!

Now every time she calls (and we talk a couple of times a day) this number comes up on the caller ID instead of her international number.  Bizarre.

Got this number calling me just a minute ago (Yay for Google and being online when it happened!).
Account Services, calling with an auto dialer to say that I need to call them about my credit cards.
Guess they don't know that the attorney general's office here in NY made it illegal (last I heard) - either that, or they want to go to jail. Also guess that they don't remember that the person at my number (me) doesn't use credit cards, since that's what I told all the freaks who tried this crap last year before the AG's office put the hammer down on auto dialers.

If you get a live person, tell them you know they're lying (since, apparently, they're also claiming to be calling about copy machines in the post above mine), that there's no chance in he** you're going to give them your money; hang up, and forward the number to the FCC, as well as your attorney general's office (for which ever state you're in).

Didn't have my caller ID phone plugged in, so I used *69 to get the number. Keep in mind, though, they could easily be faking the number. If you see it on caller ID, and you're in the same area code, use *57 if you can. That will trace the call back to the originating phone, if they are actually using the same number, or if they're real number is in the same area. In any case, if they keep calling, as long as you see it on the ID and use the trace on it each time, you can prove harassment, and take it to the police (but, Fwrd it to the FCC and the AG's office each time, also).

After receiving numerous calls from this number, and becoming highly annoyed because the caller wouldn't leave a message (I don't answer callers whom I don't know) I finally answered. I have an unlisted telephone number at my home, however I discovered that up until about 7 years ago it was the phone # for the village offices where I live. I also live in the 315 area code of upstate NY. The woman on the line said she was calling about my copier machine. She had a thick accent, and when I told her she had the wrong number she told me she was calling about my copier again. This time I more firmly stated that she had the wrong number and that she was calling a private residence. Hasn't called back since.
