A guy with Indian accent told me they work at Microsoft Windows in Mountain View, California. They said my computer is sending signals using some kind of malicious program and will crash any minute.
And when I told them I run Linux as operating system I got to speak to another guy who sounded like he could be from the US. He wanted me to google for "fast support" and he asked me about the key I got when I bought the computer but as I didn't have one I got a 9 digit code from him that I should enter. But I hang up on them and when they called again a few minutes later I told them they're listed as a spam number and they hang up on me before I had the chance to tell them they're criminals.
The phone number was hidden but they told me +13156333873 when I asked them.
I'm in Sweden btw..

Thank you very much for posting this. I received the exact same call. I let it go a little too far by waiting til after I downloaded the application, but as soon as I read this I maneuvered my way out of the call. Now all I have to do is figure out how to clean the effects of their application, but I'm sure it could have been a lot worse so thank you.

THIS IS A SCAM. I got a call from this company saying my computer is about to crash. These people have a very thick Indian accent so it is hard to understand them. They imply they work for or with Microsoft. They claim they are getting messages that my computer is infected with a virus and is about to crash. These are non-technical people trying to convince you to look at your Windows Event Viewer and that anything in there is an indication of a serious problem with your computer. This is not true. Their eventual goal is to sell you an over priced service you don't need. I played along until they wanted me to click something on their website (remote support). I would not do that because then you really could get a virus really installed. I am more technical than their are.
They are fear mongers trying to scare people into giving them money for help that is not needed. I wish there was a place I could report them.
