I got the same scam on my cell. They told me I got a grant because I do not have a criminal record. They gave me a grant approval number and then told me to call a senior officer: either Mike Stevens or Sam Inerson at (315)633-3683. They said I only have today to call or this offer will expire. Every operator who called me had an Indian accent.

So, I just got a call from 'Unknown'. I answered, don't know why, and I was told that I was the lucky recipient of a government grant worth a whopping, $7,000. Right... The government giving me free $7,000. Very laughable. I was given a whole speech, and asked to verify some info, ie:name, address, zip code, and then given an approval number(a135), and a call back number to the callers boss(315-633-3683). When I asked for a website I can go and read up on this 'grant', he quite rushed through, www.grantsgov.com. That doesn't exist. I didn't call back even though I should and ask to be removed from their list.
It's kind of disconcerting how much information they know.. Be carful, and don't trust these calls. Use common sense! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I just got a call from a private number; telling me I was selected to receive a government grant concerning taxes. I am disable so haven't filed taxes in years. I wouldn't have fell for it anyway but I listen. She told me to verify some info. She had an accent and told me to write down a code(A135) and call 315-633-3683 and give to them. I wrote it down but never even call. Few minutes got a call from 407-515-2415. I didn't answer it:)  Not falling for that! It can happen to people and they know this. Not saying I'm better but because of spending time with God I gained a lot of wisdom! People will be held accountable for doing others wrong. What goes around will come around one day!

I just got a call from this company , first they are a scam . trying to give me 7,000 dollars and it seemed weird to me that I asked questions and he couldn't give me straight answers. he had all my information . were I lived, my phone number . then I asked him to give more information about it . and he got upset .. asked me to go purchase a green card from Walmart ,711 so they can put the money in . at the end I asked to speak with his manager or supervisor and he gave me this number (315)633-3683 . sure enough I googled this number and at the end its a scam . I called them back and told them to delete me from their system and the guy asked me if I was sure .lol yes i am sure . 7,000 for free please

They tried to rip me off with their "federal tax grant" scheme... dont let them fool you. Use common sense.

I was called originally by a blocked number. They male sounded so superficial. He explained I would be given a government grant because  I had no convictions and no bankruptcy. Then he told me my information:
- My tax refund amount
- I'm married
- I have no children
- My age
- My phone number
- My address
- & my DOB.
I didn't think it was a scam at all because it would be hard to know all this information. He told me I would need to purchase a Green Dot Reload Money Card with $175 then he would transfer me $7248. He then gave me a reference number and told me to reach his boss at 315-633-3683. I purchased the Green Dot Reload Money Card and added my last $175. He asked for the number and 10 minutes later told me everything went through but I would have a few more things to answer. He then transferred me to someone with the last name Anderson. That guy told me he would call me back on his office line. When he called back the number was 661-748-0241. He explained that the transfer didn't work because the Green Dot Reload Money Card could only add $2000. He wanted me to purchase 3 additional cards all with $175 added on. I began to think this was scetchy. He told me the $2000 was added. I then checked the green dot card balance and the card number didn't even work. I asked about this. He said it is tied up in the process and if I could just buy those additional cards I could get my money. He said he couldn't process anything until he was able to give the full $7248. I then explained I don't have additional money. I explained that I only had the $175. He then told me that I still needed to purchase additional cards. I asked him to undo everything and just give me my money back. He first said he couldn't I began to cry. He then said I could get my money back but I would have to pay a service charge of $99. I asked to speak with a supervisor and cried more. He then told me the supervisors weren't available. I began to really think this was a scam. I asked several questions. He started to get mad. I continued to cry and he hung up on me. I called 661-748-0241 back. There was a prompt message stating I could not call this skype member back. So then I called the 315-633-3683 number back and explained what happened. I explained again I wanted my money back. I told him I didn't want to be scammed. I told him that if he could refund my money I'd let him be and not turn him in. He got angry. I cried begging for my money back even asking to speak to a supervisor. He then told me he would block my number and change their company phone number. I asked for my money back. He hung up on me. About 30 mins later I received another blocked call. He asked me if I completed the process and received my money. I said no and explained what happened. He then transferred me to someone else and that person transferred me again. Then this guy asks for the reference number I was given and card number. He told me I was scammed and it wasn't his fault. He told me I called the wrong number. Now #1 if that was true, what did I do? Make up my own number and call? And #2 that was the phone number the first guy gave me. And #3 if I REALLY called the wrong number how would they know I was trying to get $7248?!?!?!? So I told him I would turn him in. Then I hung up. I reported it to Green Dot and I will report it anywhere I can! DON"T LET THEM FOOL YOU!

The ownership of the number has changed. It's now held -- December 2013 -- by a training business based in India. They called to remind me to sign up for a class that's about to start because I watched a free webinar that they sponsored. I guess that makes it a legitimate telemarketing call.

Very persistent, will not leave messages but will call several times every day including weekends. Trying to collect on a debt already settled with original company. Related to 855-413-5006, 716-844-6901, 804-632-8434

They call and say there deit they kept changeing the price of the bill and they say i live in a house i havent for 10 years there lieing if anymore informaction on this number plz contact me here in a messege

I answered the first call from this number..girl asked for my husband by his nickname..she hung up when I asked if I could take a message...they have called back 3 more times and left no messages.

keep getting calls from this number but they dont leave message...they need to get a life

I missed one of the calls, but was able to get through when I called via my cell call list.  It is a collection agency, but they were very nice when I told them the debt had been entered in my bankruptcy agreement.

This number keeps calling my cell phone number. I have not answered it and they never leave a message. They call several times a day, day and night.

Have been calling me non stop. Sometime 2-3x a day within about 20 min of each call. I do not answer and they leave no msg. Have a feeling this is a scam of some sort as I have been receiving weird calls to my cell phone as well!! Well I suppose if they want a call back they should leave a valid msg!!

Got a call and was told it was a collector not sure if thats true or not

Someone calls, I don't answer because I don't know why they are calling.  they do not leave a message or a reason they are calling.  If they want me, then why don't they tell me for what?
