This is a scam! Emailed me for a fashion shoot stating that they will send me a payment of $2300 To send to fashion designers to recieve my clothing for a shoot..Stating they will let me know when my payment is ready the email said exactly this

We're happy to inform you that you are the lucky one out of the few models we checked out on model mayhem, you have got all the necessary requirements we needed for our Magazine (www.allure.com) update on the (12th Of April 2014). We hereby decided as a committee to offer you this modeling paid gig. This shoot contains No Nudity, Fetish, Bondage, and other Adult content stuffs. If you are interested, you can get back to us immediately. Please read and understood this job details very well. The shoot will hold at a rented photographers studio, (Traveling expenses will be covered) and the shoot will take 3 hours, which will commence (at 12 pm and ends at 3 pm).

We will be responsible for your transport fee and feeding throughout the shoot, you have the privilege to come with an escort of your own choice and we will be responsible for his or her well being also. Your pay for the shoot will be the sum of $600.00 for the 2 hours shoot. This project is organized by ALLURE MAGAZINE and this is basically for FASHION PHOTO SHOOT to display latest fashions and designers for commercial purpose and it's going to be an outdoor show that will be publicized and many things will be shot with as an objects.


MAKE UP ARTIST AND PHOTOGRAPHER :

We have our own personal photographers and makeup artist, so we have made all necessary arrangement for your good looking on that day and also our photographers are available to give you their best directive and makes you look more reasonable than you will be expecting.


PAYMENT INFORMATION:

A certified check payment of $2300.00 will be mailed out to you not less than 7 days before the shoot, you'll deduct $300.00 for your part payment fee and you'll have the remainder send to the fashion designer for your wardrobes payment. (You are not paying anything out of your own pocket). Be aware that all the wardrobes will be sent out to you as soon as the fashion designer received the payment from you so you can check them out and see if they are perfect for your size and if any mistakes, you can quickly get back to us for amendments/corrections.

Why would anyone give $2500 to someone they don't know?  Expensive lesson.

So sorry that happened to you.

I was contacted by someone named Martin from "www.hellomagazine.com" wanting to book me for a fashion shoot that paid $500. Everything in the message sounded amazing until he got to the end and ask for my address and other info, often emphasizing how he need my "direct" address and accurate information to mail my check and designers wardrobe to me. He said he needed the address to send a partial $250 check and the clothes I'd be wearing and I'd get the rest after the shoot. First off, he came off professional at first but when I started to ask questions and contacted hellmagazine to confirm this email the pieces fell apart. I asked for a contract number so I can verify that they did represent hello magazine and he told me I could only text him. This is definitely a scam so be careful.

This is a scam....they recently hit my account for over $2500 leaving my account negative....will also use email as modelagentrecruting@yahoo.com
