315-636-0475 called my work asking for me, they could not talk to me at the moment, so discussed the matter with a co-worker, stupid a***s.  Know that it is a scam.

There is no Angela Washington, they wanted you to call back. I have recieved this same call over and over using other names. Do not call back.

Repeated phone calls, one after the other on my work phone.  Called at least 10 times and left no message.

Received the same call. I will not call this number back. I have in the past called these numbers back before what a mistake I now check the numbers on the internet first.

You can't file charges.  They are located in either India or Pakistan.

Actually they are located in India and Pakistan.  They are basically telephone terrorists, criminals and extortionists.  The US government should do something about them.  The Indian government isn't doing anything.

Did you get an actual address? If so I would appreciate getting any info so that I can put together a case to file charges with my attorney. Thank you!

Don't let him upset you! He is full of crap! He is a bully! He's trying to scare you into giving out credit card information! I've spoken with law inforcement & they have said it's a scam! I'm going to consult with an attorney myself about what charges I can file in order to sue him. This is ridiculous for any human being to sink to the lowest forms to get $$$ that doesn't belong to him! Call your local law inforcement & file any kind of charges possible!

I received today two calls on my cell voice mail from some Brad telling me if i don't call back or he hears  from my lawyer there will be the ax coming down. Do not ignore  my call  you must call NOW or all I can do is say good luck as this unfolds on you!!! Who is this nut job and what do I do about it?? I did call back and it rang and then when to busy tone. He scared me like he was going to do harm to me...Someone get this BRAD....please!!

Thank u so much for your post! Im a 24 yr old single mother and I was freaking out about this call but something just wasn't right and I could tell that immediately by the voice mail the guy left. It was totally an automated message, clearly made with an older text-to-speech function application!!

I just got a call from phone number 315-636-0475. Called them back after listening to the voice mail they left, claiming to be a brett, amnd then when I called he said his name was charlie. Obviously a scam!!!! I looked the phone# up on Google.  Found out I wasnt the only one who has received a call like this from the very same man, and then called good ol "charlie" back. I told him that I was going to call my local authorities on him and give them his address as I had found it on Google.  He then proceeded to hang up on me. I tried calling back several times with no luck lol.  

First let me say thanks for the posts. I also received a phone call at my job. After telling one of the front desk emplyees that I was being sued & needed to get an attorney I called this foreign speaking man back. Let's just say I tore him to shreds & after he told me to shut my mouth I once again let him have it. He threatened to have police at my home the next day. I told him I had friends that were police officers & I would be giving them a call. He hung up. I did contact a police officer friend who informed me that it was a scam to get money. I guess they hope by embarrassing & bullying you with idle threats that you will give them credit card info to make them go away.

I just got the same call from someone named Brad or Brett with a heavy accent. Said I needed  to call immediately or else he wished me good luck. I called the number and obviously the same guy answered and lied and said he was Jay Smith with Mark Rothman and A**. in New York. I told him I wanted to speak with Brett regarding the message he left on my phone. He said" Brett was not available". I said" that's funny because he just left a message for me to call him back immediately". He said" F--- you"!! and hung up on me. I called back and told him I wanted to speak to his supervisor and he said he was the Supervisor. I then said I wanted to speak to Mark Rothman or the owner of the firm and he said I own the firm.I told him he was a liar and to never call me again!!

I had also received a phone call from 315 636 0475 stating I had a lawsuit filed against me for a loan taken out threw ssc... And this rude guy told me all my info... bday ssn and email.... report this number to your local authorities if and as soon as you get the call

I received a call from someone named Nick Stevens  #315-636-0475 saying that I owe almost 6,000 dollars for a 400 pay day loan that I never ever received. They knew some of my information and I have no idea how they knew it but they said I would get served with papers tomorrow and that they had to contact my job and my rental place. All I can say is this is absolutely crazy that these people can do this. The ID said Marietta NY.

just got that same "Brad" message,,,,lmao,,,got these same type of calls a year ago,,so I called "brad" back and told him that, and he said I was being snippy and hung up on me.  so glad to know that this awful situation isn't unfolding on me this year either !!

Received a call from a person claiming I owed a debt and that they want my attorney information. Well the great part of this is that I have worked in credit collections for about 20 years. I said "Well that is great, per the FDCPA - regulation Z, you are required by law to bill me for any debt that you believe I might owe", "In addition to that law you are violating a few additional FDCPA laws that you and I can discuss". With that I got some ugly statements about the condition of my brain and what I might look like (According to him) and hung up on.
Also, this phone number is on VoIP, Voice over IP. This is not actually a debt collection but rather a scam for those who might be worried they have an outstanding debt. Please everyone read up on the law to make sure you do not get scammed!

He said he was with State Division of Criminal Injustice Legal Law Services Mark Rothman and Assoc. He couldn't even tell me what the law suit was actually for. I googled everything while talking to him and then told him he's a joke and hung up.

I received several calls from this phone number and all voicemails state I better call now or else. blah blah blah. I decided to call and ask him what this is about. He asked for my husband and since my husband could not understand, he said "have a nice day xxxhole" and hung up. I called back and wanted name, company, address etc. I said you don't call people names and that he is being completely illegal. He had the nerve to ask what he should of called my husband. I said by his name. I hope the calls stop now.

Had this call on my cell phone messages from someone named Bret.   The scammers all talk from the same script.  Like have you or your lawyer call, this is time sensetive, heed this call as soon as you get it and of course the ole familiar I wish you good luck or had some with God Bless.   Messages don't even say who thay are calling for or what firm they are with.  What a croc.  

This jerk said he was Jay Smith, an attorney calling about an unpaid payday loan.  Obvious foreign accent.  Gave the address 675 3rd Avenue, New York City .  Argued with this clown for awhile until he started using foul language, then he said he was calling the police on me. He had left a voice mail twice which I ignored as I don't owe anyone anything. Not sure if this piece of garbarge works for himself, or somebody else, but he sure does have a lot of time on his hands.  After I hung up on him he called right back and we argued for another 15 minutes.  Using foul language and talking about law suits he, wouldn't stop.  Then he told me to have a "blessed day".  Really??? How do these people get into this country and is this what they want to do with their lives when there's so much opportunity to do something worthwhile and honest.  Really wish there was a resource to report these things that would shut down rip offs like this.  Can only imagine what would happen if they got ahold of a senior!

rec'd a call from 315-636-0475 and they left the same message that I have a law suit against me and that if I didn't call them back or if my attorney didn't call them back all they could do was wish me luck.  I know that this is a SCAM.  My next move is to call the Police.

These people said they were from Dept of Law and Investigation ! ? !  That they were a government "company".  Yeah right.
What government I asked.  He said  American.   Did not say "the United States Government". Asked for the paperwork I supposedly signed to be mailed to me he said they were not allowed to do that - by law.  This fiasco went on and on until I wore the guy out and he hung up.  What a bunch of liars and thieves. !!!!

Answer to that is none, debt is civil, not criminal..
