no they are not scam. they are just dumb son of a bi****s that if they keep this stupid s*** up will get an a** whipping to say the least. there is a place for people like this it`s called HELL now the do not call does not stop jerks like this or any others that harrass people, the do not call list is just a place that reports are sent into as people report them, so if law enforcement is called to these type of people then it has been reported and logged, and most likely they would move on in another area to harrass someone else....if the general public was to take the  law into their own hands and deal with these stupid jerks[ such as an  a** beating] they would think twice about calling someone else.

if it is "cardholder services" they will know at the very least the name on front of card,if so they then ask
only last 4 digits, then will confirm name,address  ,phone #...It's a SCAMMER posing ,NOTIFY Cardholder services by dialing the # on the back of YOUR CARD and REPORT this fraud A.S.A.P.
Also report automated calls to FCC online under "Abandoned calls" if no answer,they levy the fines ,not the "DO NOT CALL" list.

Credit card scam, they want to reduce your rates!! Jerks, I guess they dont have the do not call list

I just received a call from this number and got a recording about lowering my interest rate on my credit card. I pressed 1- a gentleman came on the phone and asked was I interested in lowering my rate. I asked what card was he talking about and he said we can get you a visa or mastercard. I asked where he got my information and he said Experian referred me to them since I have a good credit score. I started telling him to take my number off their call list and before I could finish the jerk hung up on me.  This is a SCAM!!!!!

I received a call from this number a few moments ago. It was a recorded message saying "this is Carmen with cardholder services..", and went on to say that I have an opportunity to lower the interest rate on my credit card and that this is my final notice; press 1 to talk to a live agent now or press #3 to "discontinue services" (I pressed 3 and was disconnected).  I have received these calls before from other numbers and had fits getting them to stop calling me. I have pressed the key to stop calls on occasion, and talked to live agents asking to be removed from call lists other times. I continued to get calls typically for several WEEKS before they stopped calling in either case.  I went through many discussions with the people about how they got my number and even pretending I was somewhat interested prying for details to figure out what the scam is. For example, when I asked what credit card they were talking about on a prior call, they quoted it was either my mastercard or visa, and claimed they were WITH the company that owns my credit card, yet they couldnt confirm any details about it at all - not even my name. And, I don't even have a credit card or a balance on either of these -- only a visa DEBIT card!  Interestingly I tried to call this specific number back and got a recording that the number has been disconnected or is no longer in service.

Aggravation to say the least...did not answer....

I didn't answer their calls and none of them left any messages.  Have no idea who they are.

How can they be calling if we have our number on the "do not call list"? I'm sick of this, especially since I've gotten these calls the last 2 days while at work!  Gator, thanks for the info above. I've been called now by both numbers.  If I don't recognize a number, I don't answer. Now I know they are associated with each other.

I have been getting many calls from this number and others with a recorded message. It is a solicitation for a free burglar alarm. I went through the menu selection as if I was interested in their product and got a telemarketer named Chris. I asked the name of the company, and was told "Security Art Works." I requested that my number be removed from their list. It will be interesting to see if they comply. Associated number is 701-625-5002. They never leave a message if you do not answer.

I just got one too. I've been getting calls from a lot of strange numbers lately. A few a day over the past few days.

I am suddenly being bombarded with calls from number such as this and it is a recorded message.  How did they get my number???
