I just received a voicemail from this number stating that officers were on their way to arrest me because of a past due loan. I was so excited to return the call. When I called back, I asked for Jacob Morris, who was the person who left the voicemail. I repeated to him what he said on the voicemail and told him that what he said on the voicemail was a federal offense and that I will be keeping the voicemail in case I needed future to press charges against him in the future. He fell deathly silent with nothing to say, and I happily said, "Well Jacob, you have a nice day now." And he didnt say a thing.

Toni sounds like another victim to me. A shill for the scam would have claimed to have received the loan, instead of losing the illegal pre-payment to the scammers over some 'new' condition to receive the loan.

This critter is sneakier than most scammers as it claimed a credit score condition for 'rejecting' an 'applicant' instead of just saying "We took your money, fool! Now kiss it goodbye!" That tactic may well trick some of the victims into not even realizing that they've been had.

Hello y'all,
Yeah I can relate to this they called me and told me that I qualified to borrow $2000 dollars which seemed legit,  but I had to buy a Money Pak card and load $180.00 on it; then, call them back afterwards they would wire the money into my account.  I did that and after everything was done Emily said I needed to be familiar with the Terms and conditions of having a credit score of over 700 and that she could not wire me the funds.  I lost my last paycheck for this year!

I fell for the same scam, I needed money in order to pay my rent and consumer loans, contacted me and offered me a loan for two thousand dollars, the lady's name was Emily Robinson, the guys name was Ed pierce. They told me to go and get greendot money pack for 177 dollars on order to get 2,000.00 deposited into my account. Then after I did that they said the IRS was holding the account until I pay 180 in order for them to release the 2,000.00 into my account. All in all they stole from me 357dollars and they have no intention on giving the mony back or put the money in my account that they promised. Any body asking for money up front in order to get a loan please don't fall for it. I neede the money in order to pay my rent and now, possibly face eviction, because I thought consumer loans was a legite company stupid me.

My mistake was applying for a loan via website. These folks called me and said that I was approved for a loan. That I needed to send money via a moneypak card. Stupid me did this and said that they would put funds into my account. Now I have to change my account information with my bank and report what happened. I can not believe I fell for such a scam. The person I talked with was called Emily. I can kick myself for falling for this scam. I've never gone through something like this before, but I can tell anyone out there if they do call you 'DON'T FALL FOR IT' no matter what they say 'DON'T FALL FOR IT'. How can people such as these get away with this? Why can't they be caught? And their website is - www.consumerloans.com...... and they use people that you can hardly understand what they are saying. This is bad, bad, bad business - it gives good businesses in this line of work a bad name.

Completely a scam. Called and said I was approved for a loan but I had to send them money first and then I would get the loan. When I questioned it she said it was not a scam and that the money was just to prove that I could make the monthly payments. I talked to 3 different people and they all said they worked for consumer loans and I could go to their website....www.consumerloans,com and I could get all their information from there. I went there to look it up and there is a page but its just one page and when you go to click on something, you don't take you anywhere.

Consistent calls all day long ranging from 25-40 all in one day. It is frustrating, I tell them to take me off the list. But they don't when I started asking questions I realized is was a scam and called them out on it. One guy was making very rude, vulgar comments and another guy told me he does not care he is stealing money from people and that since he for some reason got my bank account number told me he was going into it right now and was going to take all that I had. I immediately hung up, called my bank and explained the situation and got my account number changed. My biggest concerns are how they are getting these all this information and I don't want to be scammed anymore. It is sad that this is how some people make a living.

Scam Scam Scam - Consumerloans.com - Scam Scam Scam

Too bad you cant get the police to triangulate on this location and shut these dirtbags down...

They use old address and try to get you to give your info to them. Asked for her supervisor and a number to call to complain.  Called number and same lady answered.  Used a different name and was super rude.

Gotta love an Indian / Middle Eastern woman named Nancy Thomas.  Supervisor name Sarah Jones also Indian or Middle Eastern
