yes I did and it came up as some kind of conduit search browser instead of Google and what do you know three days later my card information was stolen. According to some sources online those are called browser hijackers and any information you enter is tracked which is how they got my credit card information and probably my phone information as well.

in the Berkshires also....got the call did not answer....this is the second time......first from a different number also listed as employment services....got two jobs don't need employment

I am in California.  My private cell phone rang five minutes ago. I assumed it had to be a friend, so I answered it. It was a male voice that I did not recognize, so I just hung up.  Then I researched the number.  Area code 315 is apparently for upstate New York in the Syracuse area.  I know no one in that area and so will not return the call.

I had a missed call from this number so I called it back. It answered with a msg saying it was WN and something about something I filled out online. It said it wanted to help me obtain employment and just needed to ask some questions. It said to press one to speak to a live rep. So I pressed one and it sounded like a real person at first, it said "Hi my name is Chris...how are you doing today?" (male voice) then it just kept on talking and asking questions, do you have a high school diploma or ged? Then I said I'm not giving you any info until you tell me who you are and wht this is about. The line hung up. I called back and the exact same thing happened and that is when I realized that "chris" is just a recorded message! Got a call a little after noon today from this number--it's called before, but I don't know anyone from NY. I'm from Western PA too.

Hey... by any chance... did anyone at all happen to download anything recently that could spam their computer... or go to www.fbhacktool.com???? Or download anything that could change your search engine??? I think that maybe somehow it might be connected with us all... because It appears to be a Land-Line number and I don't think that it's a company I looked on Google maps...  BUT while I downloaded this thing I eventually deleted I realized I was logged into Google and I had my cell # in there... Just trying to look for connections... thanks :)

i just got this call. i decided to answer it - it sounds SO SO SO much like a live person, but by the delay i could then tell it must be a computer trying to formulate a response (or someone really slow trying to look for an appropriate reply to my question). It said "how are you" "i'm calling about the survey" - i asked which survey... then it took A LONG time to answer (7+ seconds), and I knew... it then replied "the survey about the new job"... i then replied "mangos, fruit punch, guitar strings"... he they said "do you remember it?" i then said "window pane, exit sign, doorway"

i think it couldn't figure out how to respond, so it hung up

I just was called from this # I live in San Francisco,  guess they made it from coast to coast now!  no one on other end when I said hello so I raised my voice a bit and said "I don't know why you f**king idiots bother calling and then not say anything! " they hung up :)

This is a phishing scam -  a bot tries to get your personal info under the guise of an 'employment opportunity' because of a 'survey you filled out online'.

Just got a call from this number. Thought it may be work related so I answered. No reply when I said hello so they are probably farming for active numbers to sell.

I also just received a call from this number on my cell. I don't usually answer from numbers I'm not familiar with, however this time I did.  After saying hello a couple times a computerized voice responded with "good bye". If it's a telemarketer why don't they talk and try to sell me something?  Wondering if they are just trying to see if it's a valid number or not

Darn, answered. Heard a tone, then a robot said "goodbye". Have a feeling someone (relatively) human will call again. Will NOT be answering.

Received call on my cell phone today from this number....my number is registered on a no call list... I will turn them in and they will pay a $16,000.00 fine, should they continue to call.  All they are doing is finding active numbers, add them to a call list, and sell them to other companies. These callers are lazy people who have nothing better to do with their life...poor souls.   Those companies will have to pay the 16,000.00 fine if they call my number.

From Wisconsin..u would think someone would track the number ...they have to be scamming people somehow....this is the second time in two years....I am glad I hung up as soon as ti heard there was no one there....

A really good automated voice came on seeking the following information to help find employment.  I was unemployed for several months, several months ago..  I filled alot of online applications and job agency websites seeking employment.  Assumed it was from one of them.  They asked for the following info name, address, and email.  The automated voice had pre-recorded responses for typical responses.  But after asking questions that would entail a human response.  The call started over with the same intro recording.  I live in Missouri the call was from NY.

Got a call from this number at 12:05 PM.... didn't answer it 'cause i didn't recognize it.

This showed up as a missed call on my cell. Very few people have my cell number. I live in western Mass., and the 315 area code is the Utica, NY, area, where I have roots. Thanks to everyone's input here, I will delete the call from my phone.

I live in Albany, NY but I have a 315 phone number.  I thought it was someone from my area so I answered.  There was a few seconds of silence and as I hit "end" I heard a voice.  I'm glad I didn't call back!
