They are robo-scamming. "City/County Credit Union your card has been suspended.". Liars, and not even very good at it.

Just got the call and saw the CID "NISSAN SAN BERN" -- glad I Googled the number.  Add me to the list of folks they didn't reach but showed up.  Like others, I'm very wary of unsolicited phone calls or calls from unknown folks.  Wish there was some way of forwarding this to the authorities.

I got a call at 10:26 pm on 09/20/08 on my home phone, and one at 7:18 am on 09/21/08 on my cell phone.  Is this just a coincidence, or do they already have information on me personally?  Okay, I'm nervous now.  No message was left on either phone, and I got no answer when I tried to call back

Same as above but they called my CELL phone at 4:59AM!!!  Never heard of anything like that..pretty exciting..good thing I'm not a helpless plebe.

I too received a call from them at 4:15am this morning. I called the Chamber of Commerce in San Bernardino. They said there was nothing they can do and gave me the BBB number. Filed a complaint with them but I got this feeling NOTHING will be done. Wish they were closer ... I'd pay them a 'personal' visit.

This call came to my cell number...which is not listed with my credit union. I could tell it was a pre-recorded message. I have reported it with my credit union as well.

Called my cell at 8:30pm, saying my card from a credit union I dont belong to, but have used their ATM, was suspended.  Press one to reactivate it.  I pressed 0 to speak to someone but was hung up.  Called back and recieved the Nissan Dealer in San Bernandino.

Received the call at 12:59 a.m.  Scared us to death because we have aging parents.  Said they were with Franklin Bank and our credit card had been suspended.  We hung up on them.

Received a call from 909-885-3883 on 9/25/08 at 10:04 am. I had missed the call, called it back twice and was hung up on both times. The third time no one picked up.

I never answer calls to my cell that I don't recognize the number.  I googled the number and found this site.  I will be on the lookout for this in the future and alert my family.  Liars, cheats and crooks need to be stopped.

I just got the same call

called 8:30 EDT with bogus credit union disabling my account.  Called number and got car dealership and said this number has been spoofed and to call local telco for number  to report to law enforcement.  ATT were not responsive and really do not care and told me to call police the 909 885 3883 number is being used.  They already know that.  They need the real number which only the telco has.  They were of no use.

Phone # 941-360-1566 (Med Financial), 23:00 CST - Asking about debit card info.

They (MF) are getting their phone number spoofed.

I just got the same call, message states to be on the look out for bougus callers. and report it to the FBI. Then gave another # to call 909-380-8075. To nissan dealership. I am a dealer principle I thought it was really some one trying to get a hold of me. I called the other # no answer. I feel that these phone #s are being fowarded over sea's. Let's be careful. I am grateful to every one who wrote, i would have kept trying. I own my own dealership.

Received a call from 909-885-3883 at 5:06 p.m. on 9/7/08.  Caller ID showed this number as listed to Nissan of San Bernardino.  When I returned the call (as I do not live in CA, nor anywhere near same), I was informed the number was to a car dealership in CA, and the # had been stolen and people were receiving calls w/recorded message asking them to enter their VISA number.  I informed the party answering I would be filing a police report and was informed to do what I felt I needed to do.  I did file a police report with my local PD and will follow up with a call to the FTC on Monday, 9/8/08, as I have been a victim of ID theft for the past ten years.

call recieved on my cell while i was sleeping.No voice mail/meesage left.I also have had problem with idenity theft in pass and this burns me up!

Received a call from this # on my cell phone on 10/7/08 at 9:27AM.  Tried to call back.  No answer.

Unsolicited phone call.  No message left.

Received a call from 909-885-3883 today at 12:30pm .. never left a message.. but googled the # and found this site.
Have reported it to my local Police, my bank and to my phone company. Looks like the Attn Gen is next and the FBI!

We have received numerous calls from this 909-885-3883 to both phones lines in our home. Alot of the calls are in the evening around 5:30 pm. but the latest call being at 1:51 am. I don't even hear a message from them, they hang up when we answer. It makes me very angry to be awakened by such nonsense. How do we stop this? Something has to be done.

Called, no one on the line.
Called back a few minutes later with ID Unknown.
Message claims to be Coffee County Bank and wants me to enter my card number. lol

They called every line in our business.

Same recording that a credit card had been declined.

Told everyone to just hang up.

I received a call on my cell phone - which has been put on the "do not call list" for solicitors.  They didn't leave a voice mail at all but I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number.

I got a call on my cell phone on 10/9/08 - I did not answer, and no message was left.  Just wanted to let ya know - googled and it led me to this!!

We received a call this morning in N Cal. that our Visa debit card has been deactivated and then prompted to enter the card number.  I hung up and called our bank who didn't really say that they would do anything about it, just that it's a good thing that we didn't enter our card #.  Well, duh...

call local phone company and report it the nissan dealership answered and advised me to do that to see where the call came from and then report to local athurorties they have the local pd and fbi on it i guess

I got a call from this number at 6:28am on my cell phone. Luckily the call didn't wake me or that computer would have had it's RAM chewed out by an unhappy college student. I googled it (doesn't that sound dirty) and it led me here. Just thought I would share.
