I normally don't care for the way debt collectors handle themselves, but I received a message from this company on my voicemail w/ a lady's name & phone number (which was 866-637-7739) asking me to return her call promptly. So, I did, expecting to speak to another rude debt collector, but after providing my phone number that the message was left on, I was instead connected to a very nice young lady, Rashanda Madden. I have never spoken to such a nice collection agent, ever. She treated me w/ respect (unlike the majority of them who make you feel like you're the lowest of low), she was very understanding of my financial situation (which was nice, considering a good majority of society is in a similar situation). After she explained what my debt was & the amount of it, she asked if I was able to take care of this matter. I then explained to her that I had just had a baby & was out of work, but was actively looking for work and that I did want to pay off my debt to help re-build my credit, I just wasn't in the position to at the moment. So, instead of demeaning me and asking me how I pay my bills (like many others do), she offered a very reasonable payment arrangement & lowered the total amount due by $1000. I told her I would have to speak w/ my finance to see if we could afford it, and rather than demanding an answer right then (like so many do), she told me to take my time & call her back on Friday with my decision. She also gladly answered a few questions I had about how to improve my credit. Because Rashanda was so kind & helpful, I'm going to find a way to pay this debt.  It's too bad other debt collectors don't treat people this way, they'd have a higher success rate & their commission would be much higher. There company is based out of South Carolina, btw.

Dynamic Recovery Solutions is the "company" that called me, and this is the call back number:  866 625 8973  However, it never stated who it was that was making the call or who they were looking for...

received a phone call and they left a message as listed above...

Message: "Yes, this is Mr. Abbott. We have this as a contact number regarding a matter in our office. If you would please contact the office as soon as possible. It's extremely important. Our number here, direct, is 888-912-7923. Again it is very important that we receive a return call as soon as possible. I appreciate your cooperation."

Lets see, several people at my phone. None know a Mr. Abbott. The office is a mystery. Reverse lookup shows it is a land line from Wichita, KS, we are in Kansas City, KS.

If Mr. Abbott would like to call back and tell us what "office" he is calling from, who he is wanting to speak to, then maybe we can clear up his "urgent matter." Until then, no calling back.
