Called me at home and my cell phone.  I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.  The scary part is that only few people now my cell phone number.

Have had 3 calls from the 0 number. Nothing there when answered. Hitting ignore button from now on.

Called twice within two six hours. I actually picked it up the second time .... I didn't say hello, I just waited. Woman asks for my wife by name. I answered "yeah, just a minute". Then I pulled the phone away from my mouth and yelled across the room "Start the trace now!" ...got back on the line and said "sorry about that" ........ Click! they hung up. Dont surrender any information to people who refuse to identify themselves up front. I'm on the DNC list too, it just doesn't matter anymore. It seems to be a nothing but a handy calling list for them to use.

I have received two calls today from 317.000.0000. They wanted to do a servey for goodness knows what. When i said no and to please remove my number the female would not answe me. I asked at least twice and the she disconnected.  These calls are sooo annoying.  I am on the "do not call" list...a lot of good that does.

I got this number on my caller ID and yet the number is unavailale and they have no ID ! they said something about an auto group survey!! i told them I can report them and to take me off their calling list!

Oh my!  I regularly get calls from this company, but calls come from different numbers.  Most of the time I'm not home and its recordings.  When I am home, I always press 9 and ask to be removed from this list and normally receive a rude response or hang up.  Today, the man who identified himself as ID# 420 (yeah, right!)  repeatedly told me if I take off my bra he will take my phone number off their list.  It appears that someone was listening in because I could hear another voice saying something like, you cannot say that, but he just laughed.

Call from this number 317-000-0000 was from "Heather" again.   Just another try to get your credit card number, with "her" will lower your credit card rate spam.   Just hang up on these out of country spammers..

i've gotten calls from these retards.usually get calls from these people 1ce a month.gets really annoying. >=[  if u get a call from 666-666-6666,DONT B SCARD OR BCOME PARINOID!! Its probably just some Moroni or 1 of ur friends messin w/u.go 2 spoofcards.com.u'll understand then. =]

I just received a call from 317-000-0000. And as previous post stated also from 773-000-0000. I would agree this is originating out of country, could be linked to government tapping. Report it to your phone company as harassment. You can also hit *57 which is call trace.

One day we will get to the point where we unplug ourselves from phones and other infectious media, and actually be a happy society again.

Receive at least 5 calls a week from this outfit....credit card service???? Recording says to dial 9...

I got three calls today, all these are spoofed -- all from different numbers, but the phone I have puts a count on the number of calls you get from the same source in one day...and all three spoofed numbers are apparently from the same source: #1 is 717-461-8178, #2 is ILLINOIS 773-000-0000, and #3 is INDIANA 317-000-0000. The first one left a robo message (partial) about how the (unspecified) offer was about to expire, and that I had better take advantage of it soon, and to press 9 to talk to somebody...This scam offer has been about to expire for a year or two now....

This has got to be offshore, as I seem to remember seeing that robo calls from telemarketers became illegal the first of the year. Of course, since the numbers we see are faked, maybe they just think they can do as they please, with no fear of being identified.

just had the same experience. advised the guy that he had stayed on the call long enough for the call to be traced. that changed his tune.  just have some with the guys.

just got off the phone with these people.  it was first a lady, automated voice, was told to press "9" to continue to see if i was eligible to lower my credit rating to 6.9%. knowing that these bi****s are trying to take my information, i went a long with it. but i didn't press "9", i pressed "1" to see if it would make a difference, it didn't. it rang for about 5 seconds and a guy with a middle eastern accent ask if i wanted to lower my credit rating. it pisses me off that people who can hardly speak English are trying to take our info so they can steal our money and get away with it. next to terrorists, all kinds of thieves in the United States of America, i want to put in a world of hurt. if i ever see someone look through somebody else's mail, find a credit thief or just a plain burglar, i will beat the living s*** out of them. it won't put an end to theft, but i want to try.

just called and kinda creeped me out to see that kind of number on the caller ID. there was just a slight buzzing and then nothing just i hung up and went online and googled the number and found this.

i was curious about the weird number. I answered without saying anything and waited. Line was silent, so i started press 0 0 0 0 0 and the number hung up.

Called and kept saying are you taking off your bra. then started with other sayings about sex.

I have been getting so many calls that do not list a name, but just a number.  I am on the do not call list. One day I was in the shower and try to answer the phone, I fell on the floor and hurt my knee.  It was one of those calls, It sound like this one is after my credit card. They are doing everything to get to you for something.  This is not the only number that is like this. You all most want to take your phone out.

I received the same recording and pressed 9 to talk to a rep. I told them to take me off their calling list. He said they'd be happy to do that but asked if I was sure I didn't owe more than $4000 in debt on my credit cards. Red flag... I don't have credit cards. I told him what I was sure of was that that was none of his business and that all he needed to concern himself with was taking me off their calling list as I had requested. He said, "Sure. I will need you to hold while I remove your name and number (after he asked me what my home number was. Didn't they just call me on my home number??). I waited a very brief time before hanging up on him. I guess I was afraid they were tracing the call or something and trying to find my location. I don't really know. I'm just sick of these stupid calls. Our number is on the government's Do Not Call registry. UGH!!

Itis 10:07 and I just got the most filthy mouthed foreigner I have ever heard he called me a fu....ing bi..h and w***e and told me that he was going to stick his di..k in me and f..k me up the as..hole. He was so was a pig mouthed prick. All this was said because I told him that I was going to report their number to the FCC and that I am on the do not call list. I could not believe the filth and he asked me if I was listening to all this. I wish I had tape recorded him it was worse then an X-rated movie. they are liers and are in a foreign country. I am reporting them but it won't probably do any good because when you call the number back you get the computer generated message from the phone company saying check the number you are dialing and try again because it is not a current working number.

Credit Card company (maybe) to lower your interest rates... I told them the reason I pressed 9 (to get you to a person--other wise, you can just hang up and keep getting calls) was to get my number off their calling log... I'm on the National DO NOT CALL list "well our company doesn't have that list"... and that I only have one credit card and I pay that off each month"  

My bank/cc company wouldn't call me like this.

He asked for MY phone number--reluntently gave it so he could remove me... after a long silence... I asked -- "YOU STILL HERE?" He (Charles with foriegn (hispanic/Eastern Indian) accent) rudely responded... "I TOLD YOU IT WILL TAKE A WHILE"... I heard a touch tone beep, paused a few seconds and said -- screw it!!

Called my home phone today. A recorded message that told me to push 9 if I wanted to save money on my credit cards. I pushed 9 to tell the rep to take my number off the call list. Got a man with a thick accent. He wanted to know why I wanted my number removed. I told him. He asked again. I told him, adding that I'm on the federal and state do-not-call lists. He tried arguing some more and then said he needed to put me on hold. I was on hold for a minute? When he came back on again, he wanted to know why I didn't want to save money. I told him I did but not through my credit cards, please take my number off the call list. He then told me, "You are a very stupid lady because you don't want to save money!" I told him, "No, I'm a very annoyed lady, and you're a very obtuse man. Take my name off your call list!" Then I hung up on him. I'm positive he didn't do as I asked. Now I'm wondering if this is a scam, an attempt to get people to divulge their credit card numbers to someone posing as a company.

just got call from 317-000-0000 @ 0918 cst on 911......what A holes......dont answer unknow numbers without identification.....this must be a router....we can't all be getting calls from the same person....

This the the "Card Member Services" scam.  The call is an offer to lower the interest rates on your credit card.  I love to play with these people, so I pressed 9.   Some gal comes on and asks what credit card I have, which bank, the toll free number on the back of the card.  I made up information on all these.  Then she asked for the card number.  I told her I was a little hesitant.  She assured me it was only to verify my account balance....lol.  I kept messing with her, asked her where she was from.....Atlanta....yeah sure.  After she tired of my stalling she connected my to her "loan officer", who asked all the same information, I gave him all my made up info.  He told me I sounded intelligent, but if I didn't provide the account number, my $10,000 balance (made up) would become $24,000.  I kept asking him to mail me some information.  He finally told me I didn't deserve a lower rate because I had no sense.....hahahahaha.  The ONLY way to stop these people is to make this scam unprofitable.   They are an illegal operation, so they couldn't care less that you are on the do not call list.   Mess with their heads, and keep them on the line as long as possible!!

stop calling my number

Started receiving these calls again today with a recorded message about lowering credit card debt..  Is this another one of those Capital One calls?

I have received several calls from this number about lowering interest on Credit Cards. When I tell them I have no cards they call me the "N" word and curse me out.
