I worked for a few days for IYAL.  FAKE AS THEY COME!!  And the man above (or liar above) is 100% false!!  NO ONE, I repeat NO ONE volunteers for them!  They just have callers scamming people, thats it.  The president takes ALL the money!  DO ANYTHING YOU CAN TO STOP THIS!!   website is: www.youthal.org

I keep getting a call from this number and want it to stop...

We have been getting same phone calls, and like Concerned in Indiana, I finally answered just to be hung up on.  As anyone tried to call the IYAL office number that is listed and ask what is going on?  I ready to contact a news organization have I-team 8 or Raphel Sanchez go at it!  : )

I recieved a call from the falling phone numbers, 317-245-7528, 7523, 7498, and 7526 all listed as IYAL Office.  I have only answered one time, (in frustration because they have NEVER left a message), and they hung up on me. I have never experienced anything like this before and am wondering just who the heck the people are and what they are up to?

I just got a call exactly as described its 12/15/10 call comes in, answer there is no response and it hangs up. I agree with Concerned Citizen.

They are probing callers to see when they are home. I don't know if its a "legit" organization and i don't care if they are "legit". Its a great way to find out when people are home and when they are away from home, sounds like a useful way to rob peoples homes.

They call all the time. Don't leave a message and hang up.

If they are so "legit," maybe you could teach them some manners on how to conduct a proper and professional telephone conversation.  They called my house at 9:00 pm at night only to hang-up when I indicated it was late in the evening.  I don't give a crap who they are helping.  If they want money, maybe they shold learn some proper ettiquette.  In addition, if they are really attempting to help youth, my heart goes out to the youth in need when unclassy clowns such as these telemarketers call people's houses wanting money.  Pathetic and unprofessional.

I totally agree with you. I can't believe that they don't give more info. Like the others they hung up. This doesn't seem like a good way to do business.

I just received the call and did a Google - there is nothing there matching IYAL with Indiana Youth Achievement League; therefore, there is not an easy way to know that.  They should add to there link list IYAL Office so it will show.  How would someone that does not know what the initial stand for know.  So quit trashing the individuals that report this call - get IYAL to properly ID themself for a Google search instead.

My wife does some volunteer work for them, if you google Indiana Youth Achievement League you will find the organization. They are a legit 501cs non for profit organization, I would not support my wife volunteering for a office or organization that didnt raise money in our state with the best interests in mind. They have done alot of great things for local kids . Please do your homework before trashing one of the few good small Indiana companies that we have left.. The reason we answer and nooneis there is because this is the work of automated dialers..

You need to google  Indiana Youth Acheivement League... They do alot of great things here in our state. I looked into it and its not misrepresented whatsoever, 100 % legit... not a scam.. Do your homework people !

I have received a call from the number 3 times now over the past 3 wks.  Every time I answer, they hang up within a few seconds only they never speak.  Caller ID states IYAL Office but nothing is on Google for them.

Got a call from 317-245-7524.  Asked for my wife, said she was working and then they hung up.
