I get these calls ten times a day they say the same thing everyday...so i decided to do the same thing to them i called them all the time so pls lets all do this to them and annoy them untill they get a lifw

This happened to me on yesterday as well. They kept calling my phone then when i finally answered he did have my ssn and stated he was Lewis and Miller Law Firm. I told him i will call back because I wasnt who they was looking for. When i call back they was India decent people who couldnt even say the name of the firm correctly. I stated let me speak with someone else, he called himself transferring me over to their finance dept. A man Mr. Dawson said I had got a payday loan and I closed my account. I asked him when did i get a loan, how much did I supposely got. He asked me dont i check my emails i said no. I was like you know I didnt get no loan from you and i will be reporting you to the Better Business Bureau, Then he said be ready to go to jail. I was like yeah right. So i start calling them, but then they changed up an had a america guy on there talking rudely about fighting, sex, and ect. Beware my friend told me there was a scam too where people from out of state call your phone then when you call back they are charging your phone. Check with your phone company

About the only thing you can do is block their numbers - you might be able to do this with your phone, otherwise, look on Amazon .com for call blockers - you can get good ones for $60 and under.

Same thing just happened to me tonight from the same exact idoits!! when I asked the "officer" if this was a scam all he said was, "that is not my concern. that is your problem." I am pregnant and was seriously scared and now relieved that I looked them up. REPORT THEIR A***S!!! when I tried to call them back after I found out, the line was busy! give them a taste of their own medicine!!!

Just got a call from these idiots today! I now have been harassing them, which they don't seem to like.

Just received a call from an man with a very Indian descent about a loan that I owe and the police will be coming to pick me up.  The only concerning this is that he did have my last 4 digits of my SSN but I didn't verify it for him and he has my address and my place of work information.  They call at least 8 times a day and today I finally answered it.  I may need to change my bank account information because he even knew where I banked at.  Any suggestions?

Today I received a phone call from the same indian man saying I had criminal complianta against me and I owe a loan and if I don't pay a police officer will be at my house said I was stealing money they got my info from a loan I did and I found out that lenders send your info to different loan companies some how they got it I knew it was a scam

Just received 6 calls back to back from this #. I am at work & didn't recognize the # so I didn't answer. Immediately looked the # up & came across all of your posts. I, too, have been harassed for months by the same type of scammers. Different people, same scam. They have called my cell, my job & my parents home. I have filed numerous complaints with the FTC, State Attorney Generals Office & even with the FBI's fraud division. What more can one do to make the harassment stop?!

keep getting calls from these people i would like the phones call to stop

Just got a message from a man with a heavy Indian accent saying I would face serious legal consequences and my social security number was under emergency investigation. Said he was Daniel Archer from Lewis and Miller Law Firm. I have been getting different scam calls from these guys under different names and numbers for months, some weeks with a lot of calls, some weeks with no calls. Report to the FTC, they really cant do anything, but eventually if they get enough complaints they might try.

Got a call from this number, heavy Indian accent, says have been trying to get in touch with me. Unfortunately I'm glad I have been missing their calls for they are idiots. I was told that I would be arrested. Beware.

Call the FTC and report them.

I to just got off the phone with these idiots and I could have sworn they used profanity towards me.  When explained that I have had FRAUD and my SSN has been compromised he said he didn't care.   He said I was going to sued and I am going to jail tonight... whatever!!    This is such a scam.... !  **FTC told me to ask them for a mailing address to them or to have them send something to me in writing WITHOUT giving them my address since they seem to have known that much about me.

I just got a call from these people and they said they same thing to me how do I get rid of them? How can this be stopped from happening? What do you suggest I do?

I work in debt collections for a law firm, and what these people are doing is HIGHLY ILLEGAL. I was just called and told that I was being charged for fraud. That I "stole" money. (I have never stolen anything in my life). I was told that I would be arrested. The man speaking had a heavy Indian accent, and promptly disconnected my call when I told him that I work for a law firm and that what he was doing was illegal. BEWARE.

Just received a call AT WORK from "James Dawson" with Lewis & Miller Law Office.  (This has happened before).  Said there was litigation with me and was very threatening.  Yelled when I told him I'd check their number and I knew it was a scam.  Started rattling off numbers saying he had my Bank information and my SS #, etc.  He didn't.  The numbers he gave were incorrect.  I told him if he was legitimate to send me the legal documents via Certified mail.  That made him even angrier.  I told him to stop calling my home, my cell and my work.  Mr. "Dawson" had a very heavy Indian accent and couldn't veer very far from his scripted replies and comments.

I had a family member recently get a call from this number at their place of work. They knew his name and he confirmed it. This number claimed to be a law office by the name of Miller Law Office. My family member called me to see if I had received a call from this number for them. I had not received a call. My family member gave no info, only confirmed his first name. I told my family member about the other two people's post on here so I want to thank you both for leaving info about this number. When I googled miller law office with this number googled returned 0 information.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Received a call on my cell and work like from someone of indian decent who cannot speak english let alone say my name right.  Called saying that cops will be at my residence and work in 30 minutes to arrest me.  How is that possible?  I am not a twin and cannot be in 2 places at one.  Says I will be taken away in shackles from my job and taken to the Goonree prison.  Hello its Gurnee and we dont have a jail you idiot.  Maybe they should get real jobs and better yet, get correct information when you try to call someone about being arrested yet you have cannot tell the person you called what its about.  Send them my way and I will be sure to give them your information Robin Parker (cause thats an indian name 100%).
