this same  # called and said calling on behalf of century link and we qualified for a business review , why would Century link have caller id that says  sunrise serv assoc. give me a break , told him no thanks.   can we say scam!!!

I answered and nobody  talked.

This number is for a company that does College Matching. It's not a scam or anything like that, they actually just do lead generating for colleges. I can assure you it's not a scam and that hanging up or ignoring the calls actually make it worse.

this number reflects education network.  Once they have your number it is a continuous caller due to the "do not call" list does not work.  Whenever you put out your number on line - there are more of these types of calls.

I did the same thing, so I'll bet that that is where they got it.

They called my cell today, no one was there.

This is definitely the ShamWow order department. They just called me and I was able to answer.

By the way, if you refuse to pay the $7.95 surprise shipping and handling processing fee for the ShamWow mop they will drop that charge immediately.

My husband answered a call from these folks yesterday. When he picked up the phone and said
"Hello" someone said, "Welcome to the darkside" and hung up. Needless to say, he was taken aback.

I think it's connected with ShamWow. I also called the ShamWow toll-free number to order ShamWow and when I learned that they pad their bill with unexpected charges I abandoned the order.

I bet they're calling me to see if they can sell me ShamWow.

Note: if you order the ShamWow you're going to have to pay them a $7.99 "Processing Fee" on the "Free" ShamWow mop.

This number has been blowin up my phone all day So I answer and at times I get nothing at others it's a guy being stupid. Strange this is I read the comment from David H about the shamwow and I actually did call them but never spoke to anyone. I wonder If by calling that number there giving your number to this FFA crap heads as they call them selfs. I also called them and left some ugly messages and the guy called right back saying in a stupid voice hello over and over again.

called at 6am on my landline!  didn't understand what she said, i said "what"? and she hung up!!!!

this 417 number just called me while i was in school, which to me would be nice but they have called plenty of times before. i had called about th shamwow thing they called me back, in which case i thought no company was supposed2 have your number. so i just hung up. they need to stop calling people or they will not have the best ending, im in marines and i will report this to my senior officals of intel.

they called me and said that i had ordered lab tops and they asked where i lived so they could drop them off.

got a call from them bright and early @ 8:00. I was sound asleep so didnt asnwer. These people are freakin annoying! how they get my number!

They called my cell and I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer the phone. I called back and it went to a voicemail telling me that all the operators are busy and leave message. It said they were with FSA.

got a call from 417-886-2993 this afternoon at approx 2:30 central time,didn,t answer it,no voice mail message left,I called it bk,but all I get is all operators are busy pls leave message,tried for 5 hours thinking it was my great uncles biz,

They called me and said they have information for College and schooling degrees but need my personal information. DON'T GIVE IT!!!

These people from this number started calling me at about 6 this morning and have called at least 20 times throughout the day... saying they are part of the FFA or some crap like that

I've been called by this number starting once at 10PM(!!!!) on a thursday night. then, they didn't call until about 2:30 PM the next day WHILE I WAS AT SCHOOL! I tried to call back but it said ALL SSA OPERATORS WERE BUSY. That told me right there they were telemarketers, especially since I knew it was a landline. Then, they proceeded to call me at 3:11, 3:19, 4:22, and then 9:45. So annoying. Now I have to keep my phone on silent so it won't go off when these stalkers randomly call me over and over. Only people who knew me would know not to call during school!!!FRUSTRATING!!!

Got a call from 417-886-2993 at 1pm.  Trust me, I have never called Shamwow.  Almost all of the"As advertised on TV" stuff isn't worth the money.  They stick it to you with processing fees, + unbelieveable shipping & handling on the "free" stuff.  Then you get calls from other associated outfits who also "value your privacy".

I did not answer 417-886-2993.  Got no message.

I don't know who Sunrise Service is, but they called at 7:00 am and every 1/2 hour or so after that for3 days now!!!  I do not answer and the vm they leave is nothing or a jarbled mess.

Just ordered Slap Chop on Friday (this is Tuesday).  Calls from this number began early this morning. Did not answer and they left no message.  So far (it is now 1:15 p.m.) they have called NINE times.  Saw the commercial on Imus In the Morning on FOX.  I think both should be advised as to how we are being scammed through our association with their programming.  They should bear some responsibility.

Received a call at my place of business.  The lady identified herself as Sue Hafner (or Hefner) from Liberty National Insurance.  She represented herself as wanting to send our company some literature.  She had my company town and zip code, but wanted me to give her the street address.  When I told her that we don't make a practice of giving out our information by this means she was rude and wanted to know how people find us.  There is a difference in a client call or a legit company representative asking for our address.  There are too many scams out there and if she was a legit company representative there are legit ways to obtain business addresses.  I still think it is odd that she had the phone number, town, and zip code, but did not have the street address!  She tried to tell me our address wasn't in Liberty National's data base.  That's a big FAT LIE!   We already do business with Liberty National.  Then she told me that it sounded like our business was shady.  Nice try, but WRONG!  I would have no problem reporting SHADY SUE HAFNER & her company SUNRISE SERVICE AS to the FCC as an unsolicited call!

This is some scam company that claims I qualify for something.  I told them I'm not interested or looking for anything and to take me off their list.  They continue to put me in their redial que and I get calls numerous times a day.  I've tried to call back, but they have their answering service setup to ring 3 times and go to voicemail.  I'm sure the 417-886-2993 # only shows on caller ID as their outgoing #.

This company keeps calling my house several times a day.  Early in the morning and also late at night.  They are trying to tell me I ordered something which I didn't.  I would like them blocked from calling again.

Called and said they were from Liberty National Insurance.  I told them I wasn't interested.  He tried his strong-arm tactics to keep me on the line.  I simply hung up.  I am on the Do Not Call list and will report him.

Don't understand why they won't talk to you when you answer.. Why bother calling???
