KEEPS CALLING MY JOB THEY WONT STOP

I keep getting calls from this number at least once every day at ridiculous hours. They always ask for a "Shannon" and I've told them that they must have the wrong number because my name is NOT Shannon. The guy said he would remove my number from the list but never specified what "list" and obviously he didn't because they still keep calling. This is ridiculous. Is there a way I can block their calls?

Received another call today just a few minutes ago.  Left no message.  Are we sure these are the Premier Credit guys, because I'd like to know what legal action I can take or where I can send a certified cease and desist letter.  I never had student loans, nor do I know the person they were looking for in a previous phone call.

Well good thing I've never had any student loans, lol!  I just received another call from them today, but didn't answer.  They were looking for someone else that I DON'T KNOW the time I answered last week- so I don't know why they have my number in their system.  Is there somewhere I can send a "Hey, I have no idea who that guy is you're looking for, please drop dead" letter?  I'd like them to stop calling my personal cell phone I've had for nearly 10 years now and I'd be interested in seeing what my rights are if they do keep contacting my number when I've told them to stop because I have no connection with them.

Just received a call 2/17 at 9:10AM.  Picked up and there was no one on the other line.  Saw that these guys called me last year from here.  Oh joy.

If you do you "reset the clock" for the info to be reported to credit agencies, not to mention any statutes of limitations that will likely be restored for defaulted loans. Stand pat ... and see what happens with the legislation.

I have a friend who is receiving Social Security. These A$$WIPE$ have offset 15% of his small SS check to pay back the loans ... Here's what shows you what scumbags they are. These idiots have their ghetto staff calling this person several times a day.

Received a call on my personal cell phone from this number today asking to update location information for a "William Wright."  Don't know him.  Don't have business with these people.

The purpose of the FDCPA is to prevent the use of unlawful methods by debt collectors.

Some of the unlawful tactics specifically addressed is excessive calling; talking to your neighbors, relatives or employer regarding your debt; refusing to identify themselves; making outlandish threats, etc .... You get the picture.

For openers, I suggest those of you who are interested in a little "tit for tat" locate the personal telephone numbers for each of these scumbags and post them on as many web sites as you can and encourage people to call these people at home to ask them to stop their moron slaves from pestering you with unwanted calls.

They will be pretty hard pressed to report you for anything, ... as you will be doing exactly what their slaves do to you.

I have been getting calls from them as well. The weren't even looking for me, they were looking for someone else and they wanted me to give them the person's number, yet the refused to disclose their identity. Weird

There have never been any messages left, so I don't know who keeps calling me.  I want the calls to stop.  Several times, calls have come in before 0830hrs, and after 2030hrs, but never a message left. Who are the people behind these calls?  And, why are they calling? I want recovery for the harassment from this "company," and, I want the calls to stop.

These calls started in May 2011, and I started keeping a record of these calls in July 2011.

I receive at least two calls a day from this number. I don't know who they are or what they want. They say that can't tell me the nature of the "personal business matter" until I verify my personal information. I refuse to give personal info over the phone to someone that I have no clue who they are. We got into a screaming match over it and I told them not to call my number again. The calls still come at different times of the day and at night!

They are scumbags.

On another matter, if they are harassing you with multiple calls, you can sue them and collect $1000. Just log the dates and times and contact a lawyer who handles this crap for the fee they will be awarded by the courts.

Don't worry about that. Just contact one of the many lawyers who handle these cases for the fee they will be awarded by the court and let them handle it.

There is no cost to you ... Premiere will have to pay you $1,000 fer violation, and they will have to pay the attorney his fee.

Bill collector called portfolio recovery

They have been calling me for about 2 weeks....all hours of the day and night. They leave no message and when I call back I get a busy signal....anyone know who it is? Indiana number.

THEY CALL ME AGAIN AND AGAIN IN RENTAL HOUSE WE SHARE  AFTER MOVING FROM JOPLIN TORNADO. WE HAVE BEEN IN USA  FOR 6 MONTHS AND THEY SAY WERE ARE TWO YEARS BEHIND ON UNIVERSITY STUDENT LOANS AN HOSPITAL EXPENSES FOR TWINS . WE HAVE NO BABIES ANYWHERE . THEY WAKE US UP NOW TWICE A DAY . I get 3-6 calls from this number and other numbers associated to priemere credit every day. They keep saying that I need to fill out some paperwork to get my student loans paid off. Ha! They take money out of my account every month on the first because I have autopay. You never miss a payment, yet you hassle me daily. Ill let you keep calling, and Ill keep pushing you off to VM. Im sure the money you get from me every month doesnt pay for the people you have calling me. Keep it coming.

I don't know. There are many lawyers advertising on the internet who will take the case just for the attorney fees the court will award them. Look around.

If they believe you have a good FDCPA case they will handle all that stuff.

They are a scumbag collection agency that is constantly violating the FDCPA.

They specialize in collecting student loans. The company was started by a pair of queens that were bill collectors. One of their mommies bankrolled the startup and they eventually got on the nipple of the Department of Education with a contract to collect defaulted student loans.

Look up the FDCPA for the things these A$$WIPES are prohibited from doing. Find out also how you can collect $1,000 + legal costs for each of these violations you document. There are many lawyers who love to take these "slam dunk" cases for the fees they can bill Premier.

Premier constanty calls and hangs up (violation); uses spoof phone numbers (violation); will harass you at work (violation); calls your friends neighbors and relatives (violation); will not identify themselves when asked (violation); .. etc, etc ...

You see, they engage in a relentless process of harrassment ... WHICH IS ILLEGAL according to the FDCPA.

They moved their operation recently to a location adjacent to the Indianapolis ghetto, and that's where the vast majority of their low IQ work force heralds from. They fasten these imbeciles to a chair, put a headset on them, shove a script in their mug, ... and start the autodialer. These idiots start reading from the script (if they can) when the dialer makes a hit.

They are a scam They are not debt collectors and the 6568 number is also a scam they call telling you theres a lawsuit from a phony law group against you and that you need to pay a certain amount to heave it stopped

Received a call around 4:45PM CST on 4/18 from this number on a personal cell phone.  Did not answer, no message was left.  I know what's on my credit and these people have no business with me if they are a debt collection agency.

They also call from 317-375-6568...  all hours  8:30 in morning and 8:52 at night annyoing
