Just happened to us, He called hisself Brian Snapp. Said he wanted to buy our motorcycle for his son's birthday, wanted the e-mail address for paypal, and would have a driver pick the bike up.  Glad to see we could check on this, we almost got scammed.  Going to try to report this further.

Me too...obvious scam. Funny thing is this came back as a land line in Cicero, IN.  He pulled the "buying it as a birthday surprise for my son".  I replied that I was in Cicero all day today and would stop by so we could discuss it in person....that was the end of his communication.   I live 70 miles from this area but was unable to get a street address or he would be looking me in the eye by days end.

I didn't get a Jordan but the person that text me was a Lynsey. She first asked if my car was still for sale and what condition it was in. She said she had a mover to come get it and not to worry about shipping. She wanted to pay through PayPal and as soon as I said I don't do PayPal and only cash, a different number almost immediately sent me a text asking basically the same thing. Definitely a scam and last time I'm putting my number up on CG

He is NOT scamming PayPal.  You would get a FAKE invoice from  a look-a-like (phony) PayPal site.  Scammer hopes you don't catch that & that you will wire money via Western Union or a pre-paid cash card.  He did tell you he had a shipper in mind, didn't he?  That shipper is him and you would be out the money you paid for a fake shipper.

"Jordan" tried texting me about a truck I have for sale. Like the rest of you he quickly tried to set up a Paypal account with me claiming he was buying the truck for his cousin. He didn't ask questions about the truck at all and offered me more than my asking price to cover shipping. He's a SCAM.

a "Jordan" texted me from this number about a motorcycle I have for sale. The text started with a copied headline from an online ad I posted for the bike (which included the price and description) and then he/she asked me price and condition of the bike... definitely not legit.
