260-564-2104 keeps calling with a call back pitch about a sweepstakes

I have been receiving calls from this number also

Has called several times in the last 2 weeks.  They get my answering machine and hang up.

Received a phonecall from  317-398-5729 at 11:30am Sunday 2011-08-14. I called back and got a recording that - as best I can recall - stated:  

"We are sorry if we caused you any inconvenience.  We tried reaching you with regards to donating to a non-profit organization.  Have a nice day."  (Neither the non-profit nor the telemarketer was named.)

Since I have GOOGLE VOICE, I did not even know they had tried to ring me since GV does not even allow my phone to ring when telemarketers like this phone me.  (I had to find  317-398-5729 in "missed calls" on the computer screen.)

Good to hear someone found out - someone posted this site: iswww.instatefop.org - but I haven;t found that exact number listed under contact....must be a group of telemarketers that do this for them...

They said they were from Indiana State Police wanting donations for families of fallen officers. I am sorry but don't they have life insurance?  Anyway, I told him I lost  my job and he continued to ask me if I could send $10 or $12.  do you get the hint? I have nothing to send. the caller ID came up as AT and T messaging

I just got a call from 317-398-5729 - The Caller ID: AT T Messaging - and yes there is a space between the AT and T part.

It came in at 9:34am on TUES - 12 JULY 2011 - I answered and they hung up. Probably testing to see if the number actually is assigned to an individual for confirmation in marketing later on.

THIS NUMBER NEEDS TO STOP FREAKING CALLING FROM DAY ONE OF GETTING MY NEW PHONE I AM GETTING THREE OR FOUR CALLS A DAY FROM THIS NUMBER!!!! STOP FRACKING CALLING ME NOW!!!

Been getting these calls along with several neighbors. Sometimes up to 3-4 times a day. Never any messages answered once but noone on the line.

Been getting calls from this number for quit some time now. They call at all hrs. of the day, several times a day sometimes. They never leave a message and when we did pick up a couple times they hung up. We are on the Do Not Call list, so we should not be receiving any telemarketing calls or anything like that. But, since someone has said their house was broken into, I'm wondering if maybe this is someone calling to see if anyone is home so they can break in. I think this number needs to be reported so they can be stopped in case this is what they are doing.

These people have been calling my house for over three years,nearly every day,early in the morning until late at night asking for donations.We have no extra money with all the high gas prices.And yes,they do change the numbers and area codes they call from.We got rid of our answering machine,they still call.I'm at the point where I don't even notice our phone ring,and if family or friends call I check caller ID and call them back in the afternoon.

I've gotten multiple calls from this number. There is never a message and no response when I answer. I just added it to my blocked calls list.

I have submitted this phone number to the Indiana Attorney General's Office. In the month of January alone, I've received at least 8 calls from this number --mornings, evenings, Sundays. I contacted my phone company and they told me this number is classified as residential. If I don't get a response from the Indiana Att. General's Office soon, I'm contacting the State Police and Indianapolis news media. This has to stop. Multiple calls to homes that are on the No-Call list is illegal. I consider what these people are doing as a form of harrassment.

I GET CALLS EVERYDAY FROM AFFILIATED VM (765) 398-5729, NIGHT AND DAY CALLS  AND WEEKENDS! VERY FEDUP WITH THIS, IT HAS GOT TO STOP!, NOONE TALKS THEY JUST HANGUP!

FYI, finally got them to answer, states he was with the Fraternal Order of Police!!, I was flabbergasted. He knew my last name and greeted me as such on the phone. I proceeded to inform him there are more than 20 complaints written about this phone number and all the harrassment that goes along with it, including SUNDAYS!!! All he said was HUH, sorry and apologized for bothering me. He never went into the normal donation speel that normally takes place with this usually once a year call. I told him to delete my name and number from whatever he has me on!!! End of conversation. Now, afterwards I am wondering if this is just a scam and perhaps the real police shoud be notified. He said this was the number given to him to use, whatever that means!! Hope that ends my harrassment!!!!!

Been getting these same calls for several months.  Normally I ignore and don't respond.  Think about this, our house was broke into at 2:45pm on Tue of this week.  I wonder, has anyone else been broke into?
