Woman calling to ask if I was pro-life, pro-choice, or pro-abortion. Even though it's not truly what my beliefs are I answered that I was pro-birth. Pissed her off and the woman hung up on me. Oh well, got to learn to have some fun with these people!

New one for me.  Saw this on the caller ID from Indianapolis, IN.   We have not answering machine and the phone came with the Frontier package when we changed internet providers.  We don't use the phone unless the cell towers are down.

Woman asked if I believed life begins at conception;  I said "no."  She then asked if I believed abortion should be legal.  I said, "I think it should be retroactive."  She hung up.

Received call from 317-491-1854 at about 02:20 pm today, Sunday.    As the calller ID name read only "INDIANAPOLIS IN", I disconnected the call without answering.    I called the number (after blocking outgoing caller ID) and got what sounded like a phone company recording that said something like "Your call can not be completed as dialed".     That's an indication that there may be a scam factor in the calls as well as being a definite nuisance.      

Just received a phone call from 317-491-1854-Indiana Call today 06-05-14 at 12:22 p.m. when my answering machine came on they waited until after the beep and they kept on the phone for a few more minutes then they hung up .

Got a woman answering Saying Hello 6-3-2014 at 2:19pm,the background sounded like a call center, I am on the do not call list. I wish these people would not call at all.

Had a call about 10 minutes ago...same action by the caller as others have experienced.  Keep a whistle next to phone for these events and enjoy; when one comes in (unsolicited) blow the whistle into the phone loudly and a long time until they hang up from a headache!  If they call back, answer with a whistle blowing.  I start calling numbers such as 1853, 1855, until I get a response - you can normally tell from background noise if you are on target - then blow that whistle.  Use caller ID block *67 (blocks your number you are calling back from) and then block their calls. Check front of your phone book.  Oh, if you get a really nice person's private residence, tell them a telemarketer has a number like theirs and they should call the phone company and complain about these people!

Got a call from this number 5/17/14.  No message left.

Just got a call from this group today.  She asked for me by name, I said "Speaking."  After several long seconds of listening to what sounded like a sports-bar environment, they hung up.  I'm glad this number was easily searchable here.  I AM in indianapolis, and I was afraid it someone I knew that was stranded watching the 500.  

Yup, same for me.  

Yup...it's an anti abortion group....the young lady was very cordial, and I asked her to remove
our number from their call list...she said they would, so we will see....

This number called my cell. When I answered a woman Indicating that they were with some Pro-Life organization asked if I was Pro-Life, Pro-Choice or Somewhere in the middle.

I answered "Somewhere in the middle" and she thanked me for my time and hung-up.

No idea how I got on that list.

they call up 2 or 3X a day. won't leave message

Don't know anybody in Indianapolis, but picked up any way to hear the voice of an Indian woman thank me for calling and that they are very busy at this time.  Then she asked me to hold on.      So I hung up.

Many calls over and over, first said they were doing a women's literature survey to speak to the woman of the home, then when I answered, said they were a pro-life organization.  Deceptive and creepy.  We blocked fearing scam/spam/stalk.

Called me tonight. Asks for me by name. I immediately turn on my oh so friendly charm and she refuses to continue it talk to me. I wait 5 seconds and she still won't respond. So I hang up

I recieved the same call on Friday, April 11.   It is a Pro-life organization or scam, looking for money.  I refused to donate money, although I am pro-life, and the lady kept the hard sell.   She finally gave up after the 6th or 7th no.  

I received a call yesterday from this number and a young woman's voice started talking about abortion being murder and she asked me if I was pro-life or pro-choice.  I felt this was an inappropriate invasion of my personal beliefs and told her that I preferred not to answer this call and I hung up.  Then today about 10 minutes ago my phone rang again with caller ID again showing this same number.  I chose not to answer the call.  I will be blocking this number.

The caller hung up as soon as the answering machine picked up.

Called today....didn't answer...don't know anyone from Indianapolis.

Answered the phone, the girl ask for me I identified myself and she hung up.  Who is this?????

They call & hang up on my answering machine. I don't know anyone in Indianapolis.

When I got home today this number was on my caller ID. and there was a message. I listened to it and it freaked me out because you can hear is a woman say my first name as if asking a question, and then nothing but background noise and a hang-up. I do not know a soul from Indianapolis, IN. This number will be blocked.
