This is the Fraternal Order of Police. They call from several different numbers. Some say FOP. This one just has IN and then the phone #. They are very pushy when you tell them you would not like to donate at this time.

Fireman and police are not poor. I only wish I had their retirement program. Hell, I need to put money in my own family's pockets. They knew what the pay rate was when they took the job and if they are unhappy with the pay or anything else, for any reason, they can do just like evey other American has to do and go out and find another job. A comment often heard is "think about that next time you need the police or firemen" They are already paid to respond, they knew what the pay was when they asked for the job and if they need tips or gratuity, then they need to be fired or find another profession.

Instead, donate to your local public servants: police, fireman, EMT. Put the money in the pockets of those in need.
"Eyewitness News (Indianpolis) obtained tax documents from the state FOP. They show last year, through telemarketing calls, the organization raised more than $1.9 million, but $1.6 million of that went to fundraising expenses. Eighty-five percent of the money raised was spent on raising money.
That means only 15 cents of every dollar donated actually went to help the charity's causes: death benefits for fallen police officers' families, youth programs, scholarship programs, legal assistance for FOP members and maintenance of the Memorial to Fallen Public Safety Heroes in Indianapolis."

Supposedly from "Fraternal Order of Police." NOT!!! This fraudster has used several numbers to promote his evil scam. Only identified by telephone number and "IN" on caller ID.
