I get calls from this number too without a message.  Weird!  

had missed call on our unlisted office number. caller ID showed ECHOSYSTEM and phone number 317-559-5654. no message left.  I searched the internet for number and then the business name and found 1. the phone number only comes up on websites of annoying telemarketer calls and 2. ECHOSYSTEMS website, looks like a legitimate IT/computer support company.  This site even has a notice at top of their home page saying "NOTICE Echo Systems does NOT do any telemarketing, or ?robo-calls.? We are aware that some folks are receiving calls from numbers other than ours with the caller ID of ?echosystems? but we assure you, these calls DO NOT have any affiliation with us. We do suggest going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints to file a formal complaint about the number that did call you.  - Echo Systems"

I just received the same call telling me that I was "randomly" selected to receive gift cards in response to an online survey I completed.  When I cut her off and asked "if I supposedly completed a survey, what is my name?"  She replied "due to federal privacy laws, we are not able to know your  name."  Ironically, the number she called is my work cell phone and when I mentioned that to her, she said "have a nice day and hung up."  This company may be violating laws, most likely the Do Not Call Registry if they are just calling numbers and implying that you were called because you filled out some online survey.

Calls unlisted numbers that have never been published

Mary from samples awards called and said i had took a survey and is offering me to try free samples sponsered by companies looking to have me test their products and respond to another survey, and for my effort they would give me a $100 visa giftcard and a $50 restauraunt gift card, they would not answer any of my questions, just cut me off with a rehearsed speach and then would transfer me to her "teams supervisor" (call being recorded for quality). The supervisor transferred me on and off to recordings that asked for me to repaeat my name, birthdate, phone number, address, and then spell them all out. Then they wanted me to say my expiration date & then CC# just for a 1.98 S&H charge of the giftcards (not samples). When I didn't respond to that recording, the supervisor came back on and repeated the recording's question again and told me it's for a 1.98 packaging charge for my giftcards. asked me to say my cc number and exp. date, I hung up. I've never taken an online survey in my life, so how did they get my prepaid cell phone number? It doesn't even have my name associated with it.

Jus got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Don't know anyone in this state.  I am on a
DO CALL LIST and these people should be fined

Said they were sames works. Wanted cc info for them to send me samples and two giftcards. Wanted to charge 1.95 one time charge.  Was a live rep then goes to an automated system asking questions about health and verification. Sounds like a scam.

I just had this number call me. I didn't answer because it only rang a few times then hung up without a message. So annoying!
