Yes, he really is an annoying PUNK... I had made a payoff deal with one of Carmel's employees around 11 months ago and made my last payment in July.  Needless to say, I get the monthly reminder on the payment so I call and politely leave a message on their night time recorder to let them know that I had honored my agreement with the person mentioned above and to NOT pull the monthly withdrawal from my account.  I get a couple calls the next day from above menitoned PUNK and he wants to argue about all this, saying that was a stupid thought, etc., and so on.  So I asked for the lady I had worked the deal with and of course, she is not there anymore, and all he wanted to do was pressure and pressure so I hung up.  I called back trying to get a person in a responsible position, and got him again. Again, it is pressure, pressure, and that what I said wasn't so, etc., and so on till I said the word damn and he informed me if I continued to talk that way he would just have to disconnect the call. Told him that was alright, I would disconnect for him.  These calls gave them the 3 days they require to stop a bank withdrawal and you know what, they tried to pull a payment anyways.  I had gone to the bank and put a stop payment on it and any future times they try to pull it and sent them a certified letter telling them "Do Not Contact Me Again."  They have pulled money out of my account before using a different form of their business name hitting my account just now and again.  I am set to go to the Consumer Protection Agency, Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission and anyone else I can complain to.  And yes, I never should have gotten into a position to where a Collection Agency had a reason to come after me but, let me tell you, when bad things happen...they are one right after the other for years!!!  They are lucky I was here to even make an agreement with them much less honor it.   ANYWAYS, yes, they are calling both the home phone and my cell phone still even though I have gotten a signature back on the certified letter days ago (I don't answer)...and they attempted to take a payment out of my account when I had given them their 3 day notice not to pull anything out of my account.

Just got 2 calls back to back from these guys pn my cell phone.  This is a new cell phone and very few people have the number.  How these scum got this number is beyond me.

Are we sure they are only a debt collection agency and not a company putting your phone on a computerized surveilance? Just wondering. they keep calling me and I don't owe a debt and have had phone # for years. I have called them 3 times and had them look my name up and they still call every day without leaving a message. Seems weird to me.

for the past 2 day   this number call me  does not leave a message for me and no voicemail  i about change my number if continue to harass me   when i call them back it said they are Carmel Financial, a collection department that is all i know about them

Costantly getting calls from these guys and constantly telling them the woman they are looking for doesn't live here  and I have requested to talk to a manger then the same guy says he will connect me to him then he gets back on the phone trying to change his voice. Annoying lil punk.

i've been getting calls from this number constantly. everytime they call, the automatic machine picks up as soon as my voicemail starts. when i check the message, it says '...110. thank you.' how could i return the call if i dont get the whole number, let alone its a completely different number than the one that called me.

I have been getting calls from this number for at least a week now on my work cellphone. Since I have been off work due to an injury I hadn't answered my phone until today. They called me by my last name claimed they were calling to collect a past due bill for a tanning bed. I told them I had no idea what they were talking about. They wanted to verify my personal information but I would not give them any info. I told them Latice that if she did not put her supervisor on the line I was going to the Atty. Gen. to get to the bottom of this. She said I was wasting her time and hung up.

I called them back and talked to another person who I told I needed to speak with a supervisor or I would contact the Atty Generals Office. About an hour later a supervisor called me back and said they had no account tied to my phone number and that they must have contacted me by mistake and to disregard the error.

Seems strange though that they dialed my work phone in error multiple times also calling me by name which very few people even know I have.

These guys are real pro's at getting what they want. They start calling right at 8 am and don't stop until 9 pm. It's funny because they go from my home phone to my cell seven days a week. Now they have my bosses work number too, GOD knows how the hell they got that. They will keep harassing you even if you make payment arraignments with them...Go Figure..

I also have been hounded by these jerks.  Although the people calling me always spoke Spanish and not English.  So I called then and confronted them about calling me.  I also let them know I lived in Maryland and had no idea who they were.  The jerk put me on hold, then came back later (I was ready to hang up) and told me they would never contact me again.

To Master's Carpet and to anyone else who has called Carmel to confront them:  I think it's all about whom you reach on the other end and how you go about it.  The first time I called, I sounded really angry and asked to speak to their manager, explaining who I was and that I was not the person they were looking for as I had just got the number recently.  The guy said he would connect me, and of course hung up right then.  

Then, I called back again, speaking very calmly and asking them nicely to stop calling, explaining again who I was and that this number is new.  After that, the agent said that he would pass this info on to the supervisor (I thought he was BSing), but since that day, they haven't called again.

I think it's all about how you go about it, which agent you get on the other line, and of course luck.  All the best!

After notifying this company many times that the phone # they are calling used to belong to another flooring company that has been out of business for more than a year ,the persistently kept calling , very nasty and annoying,and a guy said that will keep on calling

This person called me now 3 different times looking for a person named Robert.  I just got this line a bit over 3 weeks ago.  I talked to them and told them that this isn't his number anymore.  I really hope they don't keep calling or me or I, too, might have to change my number.

This is Carmel Financial, a collection department, they are very persistent about who they are trying to get a hold of. Had to change my number cause of the many calls they made a day. They found my cell phone number again and about to change it again.

This person calls my cell phone many times a day and never leaves a message.  No one outside of family has my cell number, so this is definitely a wrong number.  This is very annoying.
