We got a message from 317-663-5008 saying we had potential fraud on our card. I called it back and put in some info but balked at my security code. I immediately called my card, which I should have done in the first place, and they assured me my account is fine and the call was fraudulent. They put a watch on my account.

I keep on getting texts that say:

What's frustrating us that they get sent from vtext.com numbers, so I can't tell what number is really sending them,

When called this number they will ask you input 16 digit credit card number and then the expiration date, then the password.

I was stupid and provided all the information, then realized it could be fraud and immediately called 1-800 number on chase card, they cancelled my card and will be sending me new card,  there were 24 charges from various online purchases, luckily chase denied the payment.

I learned hard way that we should not provide any information right away think before providing the information whom are providing the information to.

We are living in the world, we cannot trust others.  It is sad.

Just when you think you are in the clear from spam text and calls.  There has to be a better way to block all this mess.

Yep, I received the same exact text at 1706 EDT.  I don't have a Chase account....

I got a text from this number and there is nothing wrong with my chase acct. Very suspicious

I just got the same text message about calling in about an account issue.  I don't have a Chase account nor plan on getting one either.
